The only song I didn't like was Change, unfortunately. Lyrically very weak for a scaled back song. I was surprised to really like the Sean Ono Lennon song since I don't really like his music much, but he sounds good and so does she.

This album legit has the best opener and closer.
Not the best title track, but i love it as track overall.

the interview makes me cry.. it is so personal... it's like... you can tell she's very intelligent and shy and very complex... as a human... not just a star that you see on screen with only one single layer...

That Pitchfork interview is Lana at her best. Blunt, dry humor, unapologetic and finally taking credit for the soundscape of the past 5 years in pop music. She's an innovator.

I hate how much I can relate to this. I was diagnosed with depression last year and once I got on medication it went away and I found inner clarity... for 2 months. Then my depression came back, so I ramped up my dosage and it made me suicidal. I'm finally at a point again where I can feel SOMETHING and I don't completely hate myself, but I'm not cured and my anxiety isn't being treated anymore so there's that. But it's definitely difficult to deal with these issues, and Lana is very much a fighter. She won't let her sadness win. She'll channel it, she'll explore it, and she might have it forever, but she will not succumb
