The first one is a little slow. The pace picks up a bit after that.

"Hawaiian glam metal and surf noir".

In March 2011 she posted a YouTube link to the song on Facebook and wrote "I'm Doing A Sick Cover of This Song". I talked about it in Part 3 of my LanaDelReydio covers show podcast. #ShamelessSelfPromotion #CallMeJack

Lana has talked about being hacked in several interviews, comments which seem to suggest she has been hacked multiple times in multiple ways (she mentioned a hard drive being accessed remotely in addition to her e-mail) perhaps by multiple people. If I recall correctly, I remember back in the day on SIN people making vague comments about feeling so bad/sorry for what happened to her and that her team needed to get their shit together or something like that and being told by someone that those comments were about rumors that she'd been hacked. Later, speculation naturally centered on Ahmed, a prominent Lana fan and fan site operator who was arrested on charges of hacking Sky Ferreira. But I've caught wind of enough rumors to make me suspect any incident of hacking was not isolated, unfortunately.
As far as which e-mail address was hacked, I don't know (and wouldn't want to know), but there are at least two e-mail addresses she made the mistake of posting publicly and leaving up after becoming famous.
So she's definitely been hacked, and undoubtedly a lot of stuff that has leaked probably came from hacking, but I personally suspect this fanbase has tended to assume more came from hacking than probably has. As @ rightly points out, a lot of tracks have come from sloppy publishing sites or producers inadvertently making them effectively public, or from producers intentionally posting them publicly. There's a number of songs that we know leaked this way, and probably some that we don't know. There are also a number of early songs that Lana herself made public that people probably just saved.
Others may have posted more information, but here are links to some posts of mine discussing what's known about her being hacked and where some songs came from:

So this has probably been asked a lot but I've read that a group hacked Lana's hard drive and email. Is that true? And which email? The one posted on her old Twitter? I've also read the her newer stuff (probably beginning in 2012) was done by hacking producers. Can anyone fill me in? I'll page @@evilentity cause he knows a lot but anyone's help is appreciated
  5. mr borntolose liked a post in a topic by Dua Lipa in The Original Ultraviolence.
This topic has been discussed in many different threads many times but I've decided that we need one specifically. Ultraviolence was not supposed to turn how it did. The album was first produced by Rick Nowels (Which can be heard on the Black Beauty Demo and Angels forever, forever angels) until she rerecorded it with Dan Auerbach. Originally there was a different music video for Ultraviolence, (which can be discussed here) it was essentially what happened in Jonestown but her label didn't like it. They scraped it and Francessco filmed a different version that was released later and is the one we know about today. Now the original uv video has finally come to light. It is in parts of the MTWBT video (The girls in the water, yes that was for UV), In the Honeymoon Album trailer, and now in Freak. Lana has also said in an Interview that she only wanted 11 songs on it but the label wanted the deluxe tracks. Other things that were changed was the alleged album art. Below is the one that was shot by Chuck. Some say it was changed because the cover was "controversial" and stores wouldn't sell it cause it had drugs on the cover.

    Original:

Other things that was removed was more footage in the West Coast Music Video. Parts are seen in the UV trailer and others in the one that was uploaded to vevo a couple days early that had alternate parts in it (The "original" West Coast video had the fire-scene looking even worse than the final one and it had a shot of her singing the chorus in the car, looking rather "sad". The final version cuts off before this angle is shown. But has not been leaked) The clips/video that has been leaked has now been called the the alternate version and is linked just below this post. Other things that were supposedly cut are have not been confirmed so we can only speculate. The reasons that the scenes were allegedly cut was because of how much drug use was in it and Interscope didn't like it. The Shades of cool death scene was also cut but was included in the Directors cut. Pretty when you cry also had a homemade music video but was not released. A 15 second snippet is still however on Lana's Instagram.

ALSO A performance at the letterman show (She cancelled it)

Theres probably so much more we don't know. Thoughts?

You can also ask some hoarders in here too
but the newer stuff was either bypassing websites that holds music (mostly stems/instrumentals/accapellas) like SONY or the producers themselves, one of them posted it on his website by accident, I think it was Rick Nowels, can't remember

I don't think she ever watched the released UV video if she's saying this about the gorgeous HM video

Fucking hell man, I realize this isn't helping, but is there an inch of this site left that isn't just children squabbling? Maybe this forum has always been like that and I hadn't noticed before, but I'm still disappointed at its decline. And poor admin pay money for this shit...

First of all, my sight is very good. But let's not talk about that. Halsey might read this and find a new illness to suffer from.

On a personal level and speaking of being deranged, it's actually quite pathetic to say she is creating buzz by posting old videos of doing nothing on her Instagram. That is not creating buzz. What do you know about marketing, love?

    I assume not that much.

Since Francesco been out of the picture she seems more outgoing and happier. I'm not sad he's gone. I never liked that man. He always rubbed me the wrong way. Barrie wasn't perfect either and he looked like he needed a few showers but Barrie was a sweetheart. You can tell Barrie was a nice guy. Francesco on the other hand came across domineering, rough, arrogant, controlling and rude. And don't get me started with the way he use to grab Lana's face in public. Thank god he's out of the picture. She's so much happier now.

The way she films herself and flirts with the camera reminds me of her home-made Lizzy Grant music videos

Oh, and she needs to drop that "I'm a jazz singer now" -mentality. Like, nobody (or hardly anybody) is here for it. If I want to listen to jazz, I'll pick up some contemporary jazz records, not Lana Del Rey albums
where she just uses her laziness in lyricism for "jazz" Like zzzzzz-my fucking ass, bitch. Just because she is too lazy to come up with a proper lyric, she sings "aaaaaaa", "uuuuuuh" "ahaaaaaaaah".

No posts on Instagram will take away from the fact that this woman is for years constantly trolling her fanbase with lame excuses why she doesn't write as melodic songs like Video Games, Summertime Sadness and Blue Jeans anymore.

Enough of it. I don't wanna sit thorugh an album like Honeymüün again where is no excitement, no real hook, no anything except for cultivated boredom. We as a fanbase deserve way better than that. Without us, she wouldn't even be around.

She is a pop star. She signed up to be one. And she ain't no Nina Simone and will never be.
She needs to excite her fanbase and not let it rot away.

So if any of you are unaware, Lana has started a little travel diary on her honeymoon Instagram account. She has promised to upload videos from her travels last year over the next few weeks, so I thought I'd make a thread for discussion about the videos, and I will update it every time she posts a new one, with gifs of the video and the caption. Might be a nice idea to have them all together somewhere idk.

"Last year was a really beautiful year and I actually took a lot of videos during my travels. I think I'll share some of them with you over the next few weeks. This was from when we went to Santa Barbara for my birthday. I spent all afternoon reading."

    30th March 2016

"Music is a big part of our lives, even when we're on our way to play music we are listening to our favorite bands. It's funny looking back on my videos- whether we were on boats, planes or caravaning to festivals, there's always someone amazing on in the background.
On this day we flew into a small airport and drove for two hours to what ended up being one of my top three favorite festivals we ever played: Sasquatch. That night I was also lucky enough to see Robert Plant for the second time (the first was on the side of his stage at Glastonbury.) Other than Bob, his voice is the only voice that completely transports me. *And Ricky was right, there were a lot of people."

    31st March 2016

"Since I was speaking about Robert in the last post, I guess it's only fitting that this video come next.
It's important because I took it the week I made the honeymoon Instagram account… You can see one of the photos from this boat in my fourth post from last June. This was the day after my birthday (still in Santa Barbara)
Time flies, and people change but the ocean is always there for us. That's why the beach is truly my unwavering home."

Florida Kilos was not supposed to be on the album. It was made for a movie to be a soundtrack song but  the plans fell through so in the end Lana just included it on her album. It is also Rob Grant's (her dad) favorite song from Ultraviolence (the album).

edit: why did the site not add to this my previous post like it usually does. Maybe a mod can merge the two?
  19. Dua Lipa liked a post in a topic by Creyk in The Original Ultraviolence.
She reworked the song Melancholia into Ultraviolence in order to have a title track.

She described the album before Dan Auberbach's contribution as: "folk songs" in an interview. Some members at the time  commented that the guy prevented the second coming of Lizzy Grant, or at least an album that would have been more similar to AKA.

I randomly came through the Wikipedia page of dark paradise and it says "...del rey expressed in a radio interview that she could put out a video for dark paradise, however three years later , a trailer of the music video was revealed on YouTube. The video owner said they showed Del Rey the trailer in late 2013 and told them it was "beautiful" and urged them to put it online. An teaser video edit of the song was eventually published on 13 February 2016." It leads to a video that sais "Video has been shown to del rey in 2013" It looks really fanmade, but saying something is "beautiful" does sound like lana so I thought I would share......(sorry for not putting the link and pictures but I didnt got it to work any idea what Im doing wrong? And hi im a new member by the way)
