With Lana's off-and-on absences, yet pictures in the studio, and pictures tagged with location in both Hollyweird (Hollywierd) (Hollywerld) and London, my lingering suspicions have become more and more obvious. Here are the facts.

    1. Both have red hair. Sometimes

    2. Rihanna
Remember when Lana posted BBHMM on instagram? It was during that time that SOPHIE (Lana Del Rey) was in the studio with Rihanna. See picture.

    3. He hides his identity. It's because he's Lana Del Rey, aka Elizabeth Grant, aka Sparkle Jump Rope Lolita Daddy Queen

    4. They're both fucking beautiful

HOOOOOLYYYY SHIT, LIKE FUCKING GORGEOUS BYE
    5. pic of my cat

    he's cute

Conclusion: Lana Del Rey and SOPHIE are irrefutably the same person, stop getting mad at lana for not posting shit, she's two people, it's hard sometimes

when i first listened to AKA, i thought Pawn Shop Blues was total filler and DID NOT understand the hype-- now, it's my second-favorite lana song (right next to my iconic PMIAM, ofc)

Truthfully, HM is my least favorite Lana album, but I still think the album and era had some redeeming qualities. Probably my biggest qualm with it is that everything still felt as if it were in a transitional phase-- the songs didn't quite sound *finished*, the videos seemed thrown together, the visuals weren't as dynamic as they have been for past eras, and Lana never seemed to settle on a certain style/mood/aesthetic for the era, as she had previously.

That being said, I think the HM era had some high points! I felt like the unreleased Honeymoon video was an extremely beautiful, and an interesting route that I wish Lana had explored further. The V Magazine and Marfa Journal shoots were some of my all-time favorites, and the songs from HM are beautiful, even if they are enjoyed in small doses due to a bit of monotony and repetitiveness, imo. Also, Lana served some beautiful  looks this era (the blonde!!!!!) and some gorgeous stylings (whatever event this was from: )!

And, despite being a bit of a side-note to the HM era, Lana's little Instagram videos have been so sweet and cute

All in all, I think the best word to describe my opinion of the HM album/era is solid. After a staggeringly incredible run of albums by Lana since 2010, HM didn't blow minds or achieve any levels of perfection, but it wasn't bad by any means-- not a great hit, but not a miss, either. I think it may have provided a bit of respite for Lana, who's been producing knockout albums and dealing with all sorts of publicity ever since Video Games hit it big-- this era was calm, cool, and maybe even sedate-- but, as they say, "solve et coagula", and hopefully LDR5 is a bit more exciting and dynamic

In speaking of trailer parks, in what timeframe did Lana live in a trailer park-- when did she move there and how long did she stay? Do we know what motivated the move?

lana del rey is a satanic ghost android witch alien who lives in the hollywood sign but also on the moon where she gives concerts to a bunch of millennials and has the power to send love to earth via her eyes which she learned while growing up on a farm while riding in her daddy's pickup truck in the 1950s when she suddenly got abducted by aliens and they took her their planet and made her into an immortal cyborg princess who dedicates her life to getting people through dark times, stranding gay pop stars on the moon, and coming down to earth on taco tuesday

I hate the border. It's stylistically unappealing and takes away from the actual image itself. Rule of thirds and zooming out would improve this cover so much.

Like I get what they were going for but it was executed better here:

    Just my two cents.

Just to transfer my thoughts from the general LFL thread to this one -
I can't believe the old LDR logo has returned. She looks so beautiful. She has the most lovely smile, so I'm so happy to finally see it featured on an album cover (since it's never been on one before for any album/EP/single cover)
As I stated a little bit ago, It definitely seems like this is a development of Born to Die. As if she were releasing BTD at this point in her life instead of 2012. It seems to be similar in aesthetic so far. Especially with her being centered in the picture in front of a car.. except this time instead of her somber frown, she has a grand smile. This is a gorgeous transformation.

Guys I'm not good at drawing or using photoshop and stuff but one of my biggest hobbies when I'm not obsessing over Lana is brewing beer. It can be an art form right? Cooking is an art and making beer recipes that actually taste good is challenging. Recently I was shopping around for new hops to use and discovered a hop called Waimea.

Wayamaya is my absolute favorite unreleased song and probably in my top 5 of all time. It's just so perfect. But tragically short.

So I brewed a double IPA at 8% and named it Eight Story Waves. It's really delicious. Tropical and juicy I poured a glass and grabbed my most Hawaiian beachy stuff I had in my home and took an iPhone pic. Also attempted to draw a big wave on my tap handle....don't judge too harshly lol

Literature, no matter if novels or poems, plays a huge role in Lana's life and being a good writer was always her main goal. This is one of the aspects I always liked about her and thats why I am going to make a thread about everything related to her love for literature.

I've been finally getting into Bowie, going through the albums chronologically-- with the exception of Blackstar, which I already listened to before he died.

The first album is pretty cringe-worthy, and the Space Oddity album is kind of hit-and-miss, The Man Who Sold the World is incredible, and by Hunky Dory, he's positively transcendent. Listening to Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, and Aladdin Sane, they still sound fresh and exciting! I don't know how I missed getting into him for so long.

idk lana released the full song of honeymoon on youtube like months before the full album was on itunes available for pre-order, & you couldn't even buy the track legally until the album came out.  So it's safe to say that we can't possibly or accurately predict much of anything.
