It was produced by Princess Superstar and according to this interview, they only worked together in 2009. -

Yayo is the winner!
Thanks for playing, everyone!
I'm going to make a Born To Die: The Paradise Edition elimination game, but that will probably be in a week or two.
Have a great day!

I'm quite skeptical of there being a literal K who was literally on death row.
Yeah, I've essentially done this before. I looked at death row inmates with convictions for multiple homicides in states she may have lived in from when she was in high school until "For K" was written. There just aren't that many candidates because (thankfully) not that many people receive death sentences anymore. And when you narrow it down to people with a first or last name beginning with a 'K', I don't think I ended up with anyone I considered likely.
But if any of you want to dig, you should be able to find information online at sites like this:

As strange as it sounds, I can actually see it being "wide"-- considering the lyric "I do my hair up, all high and wide" from Trash Magic

While Lana Del Ray (commonly known as AKA) wasn’t Lana’s first studio album -- that honor goes to Sirens -- it was her debut on a record label, and her first album to be sold commercially. AKA’s history was turbulent, which probably owes to much of the mystery and misinformation that surrounds the album today:
As noted above, the formation of AKA brought about many demos and outtakes that didn’t make the final cut, including Lizzy’s collaborations with producer Steven Mertens. Below is a helpful guide to the AKA demos, along with information on unused tracks recorded with both Mertens and David Kahne:
Lana’s promotion of her music during the AKA era included interviews, frequent live performances, and perhaps most distinctively, the creation of self-assembled music videos for most of the tracks on the album, much like the “Video Games” visuals that would propel her to stardom in 2011. Below are a selection of these videos, plus relevant fan creations:
Lastly, here are some helpful links for further info and exploration of AKA:

Personally, I think death row and dying man are metaphors for something else, probably a drug addiction since she mentions them so often. I'm still waiting for someone to find a list of everyone who's been on death row the past decade and make some sort of Lana connection

iconic queen of sleuthing... i'm amazed that the K Code may have finally been cracked!!!! although it loses some of the poetic appeal of him being on death row/dying, it's still incredible

Whew okay I was feeling kinda stagnant and I added a MySpace era inspired album
It's good, I promise. Blindly follow me on my ever changing path of Lana organization
But I still can't bring myself to taint the other more produced albums with concept demos so the rest are here (most are short, so I'm chill with a long ass album lol)
Thank you! Slightly amended above but it doesn't affect the flow of the other albums. Hope you like!
