Big Eyes & I Can Fly Removed From Spotify

Recommended Posts

Both of Lana’s contributions to the 2014 film have been removed from Spotify in numerous countries including the US and Canada. It’s entirely unknown as to why, and the rest of the soundtrack is still up. The album still shows in her “Appears On” section on her artist profile even though it lacks the tracks.

I never listen to these songs but just checked to see if they are still there in the UK and they are, I probably havent listened to them in years and just noticed that in some parts of Big Eyes she sings in a similar melody to the Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel.

tf is this slander? they are great songs.

Big Eyes verses are good but ICF is dead ass one of Lana's worst songs imho. Whereas LFL is an incredible record. So that sets the tone. I admit this is an unpopular opinion but balek

I’ve been wondering what the hell was going on! Like why they get skipped over every time. Yes, stop the slander! They are amazing. Love them both. So what do we speculate here, why do we think they have been removed? Thanks for starting this topic cause it has really been bothering me lol. I just thought my Spotify was fucked up for whatever reason.

In a discography where Betty Boop Boop and 24 exist, ICF is great.

same here, I noticed this too! I'm in Germany, I thought WC might even make sense because of the Radio Mix that was released here.

But now "Ultraviolence" is missing too??

Isn't this just something to do with streaming licensing? Streaming services have to 'renew' their rights to the song if I understand correctly, or labels will pay to have the songs on the service- it's a two way street I think. They'll probably be back in a few weeks. A lot of songs in my library will be unavailable then come back a few weeks/months later.

Don't quote me though I don't know shit for specifics lmfao
