It's just like a fancy decorative slip over the gatefold jacket, part of the packaging. What's cool about this is they're hand-numbered and officially licensed by Polydor, plus it's the rarest variant for the album we've seen so far. (I'm going to cancel the other yellow order I had in dddd)

 

Edit: Yeah, they just changed the stock amount to /500. Still gonna sell out in an hour or so, probably.

obi literally means "belt", its a paper strip going around the cover

 

its common in japan because it features the title, artist and tracklist in phonetical Katakana so they know how to pronounce it w/o ruining the OG cover (so here its "kemitoreiruzu oobaa za kantoriikurabbu")

 

japanese copies are pretty sought after because of that

There's still a 3rd picture disc to come as far as we know, plus whatever other tactics they use within the next two weeks to keep boosting sales.
