the russian army outnumbers the finnish by more than half though, it'll be tough but not impossible. i'm sure it won't come to that though.

But it would be purely on ground/cyber fighting. Russia couldn’t bomb/nuke Finland, bc that would affect St. Petersburg which is ~150 miles away from Helsinki.

Yes and Finland already won the Winter War against Russia in 1940 and they seem pretty unimpressed by Russia. So do the Swedes. It's really frightening but I guess we can't go down that spiral where in the future, whenever Russia doesn't like something they're gonna threaten to nuke a country. This rhetoric needs to end before it can establish itself. It's ridiculous.

yeah, a nuke is definitely out of question (unless the russian go fully unhinged). their strategy in ukraine was to arm the borders and then exclusively target military sites rather than cities, and considering how the closest russian sites to finland are purposely positioned near the northern borders (mainly alakurtti), they could easily have them surrounded.
