Does anyone miss when she would perform cola? I understand why she retired it but I just want to know if anyone misses it.

Yes, she should change the Harvey part to Lucy's In The Sky With Diamonds. It would be The Beatles reference and she loves them, idk how it would make sense in the context but it would be a Lana song overall :whatever2:

She could sing anything instead of H*rvey, but I think she doesn't do it anymore because of principles and not just because of that one lyric.

I still miss it though  it's her hottest song

I don’t even know these people did all of this sh!t :rip: until I came to this forum/thread. Thanks… I guess. You just ruined my perception of these artists :rip:. The GP doesn’t know or simply does not care about this. I mean Carti has a top 12 song on Apple Music US as we speak. Didn’t he also sub headline Coachella and headlined a bunch of festivals recently? He’s booked and making hits. It’s not big enough news for the GP to care.

And If I don’t even know it, I doubt “her team” knows :rip: . You expect “her team” or L4na to background check every single person she works with? :rip:. That’s not realistic. If L4na was working with Br!tney’s dad or endorsed the IDF in her new song, now that would be problematic currently.

Yes I’d expect them to know- it’s not unknown knowledge and if you know someone I’d certainly Google them- takes 10 seconds of your time.

Background checks should be the standard of all decent management

something i’ve always wondered - was the entire btd album written before the release of video games? or did it come after video games became popular? if it was already written, radio was a crazy manifestation lol

The album was mostly written in 2011, around the same time (if not before) video games. The only songs written before 2011 are:

•Million Dollar Man (aug.2010)

• Lolita (Jun.2010)

•Diet Mountain Dew (2009)

ok thanks, so do you think radio was based on her real experiences of actually hearing herself on the radio? or did she just make that up and got famous coincidentally? lol

Well yep Lana said in 2012 during an interview that the writing of the song is inspired by how people had started being nice to her, after hearing her songs on the radio.

I could be making this up.....but I swear she said that Radio was the last song recorded for the album. That tracks, because Video Games went viral a while before the album was released so she would have had enough time to work it in there.

I think the song is more about Lana finally feeling vindicated with her newfound success and expressing that in a tongue & cheek way - Interscope did a great job launching her, she was making some of legendary music that would shape generations, and things were just finally on the up for her. RADIO is one of her best songs of all time and I'm so happy that all these years later it is still one of the most beloved songs on the album. It was always a masterpiece!

We need to declare a war on AI if it keeps producing shit like that :tanisha:

we have lived so many years without AI and we survived. So why we need it now... I know I get that we want to have new things and AI would be one of them, but this and some other videos are so scary and actually disgusting. How they can do lana and tay so dirty
