I have a question from a friend of mine but I’m not quite sure about it, when you preorder but the credit card expires before the item is shipped, is the preorder still valid or not and is there a way to change the credit card info once they obtain a new credit card?

if anyone knows it’d be very helpful!

They don’t wait to charge you until it ships, they charge you immediately after buying so you should be fine

Interscope's stores post charges when you place your order, not when the items ship out. So even if the credit card expires, by the time September comes around, the charge will have already been posted and paid for, so it won't matter

He got it from the UK sites or its the same for all of her online stores?

I ordered mine from the german store and they charged me and sent the confirmation mail right away

some places tho when you preorder they charge you once and give you the money back and later on before shipping charge you again at least that was my experience with fnac for an example, so they’ll charge you soon most likely

Same here. I also need the L4L cassette, but with those two (and probably the crystal/Periwinkle clear Chemtrails), my collection would feel complete to me. (I don't collect on CDs though.) 

 

(Got 5 more vinyls on my missing list, but I don't feel like I really need them: Red honeymoon with standard cover (no need for it as I got standard black and red UO cover), more thin/clear US version of L4L coke bottle clear vinyl, opaque white Blue Banisters (the translucent one is way more beautiful), standard black Violet bent backwards... and the Polish misprint of L4L.)

Yes, it should post right away. I've ordered things from the UK site too, so I assume it's like that on all the other stores.

I’m not a scalper ): I was getting them for my collection one to play, and one to hang. I was anxious because I didn’t get the confirmation email, so I ordered two from the uk store and then later I got the confirmation for the US store. I missed the first drop and so this time I was so excited and shocked they were doing another drop. UV is my fav album of hers and so I needed this. it was fair game in my opinion & it was a limit of 4 per customer. I’m sorry if you feel that way, but in my opinion I don’t think of it as me being a scalper, I’m just adding to my collection. with the other two I’m planning on gifting them 🥹 so yeah.

(: so I thought I didn’t get the uv release from the us store so I bought two more from the uk store and so I have now four basically. so, since I have two too many now, I wanted to gift the other two maybe? or sell them for half the price I got them? I felt bad after some people said I was a “scalper” when I never meant to be seen in that sort of sense so I want to send two people the two extra ones I got 💓 so if you want, maybe I’ll do like a “giveaway”? what do you guys think! I can do a random like spinner to draw two people names and have you pay for shipping at the least 🤍 UV is my favorite album by Lana, it’s what really got me into her. My debit card literally has been the pic of her knees and now the hydrangeas lmao

😭people are making me feel so bad when I felt like we all who didn’t even get the chance to get it a few days ago, got a second chance so we all jumped at the opportunity. I didn’t want four, I just wanted two one to play and one for display. the other two now are extra, so I’m going to give them away and have two people just pay for shipping 🥹 I know there’s probably other stans who got way more than four but I somehow am being made to feel small. I’m going to gift two people I feel like the least I can do because I don’t need four lol. thank you for this reply I laughed 🩵🥹

It's really not that big of deal. It wasn't clear from your post that you had panic-bought 2 more from the UK and accidentally ended up with 4. But given how much of a target Lana's merch is for resellers, anyone bragging how they "bought four" of a record is pretty much going to be assumed to be a reseller. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions but 99% of the time people are only purposely buying 4 with the goal to make themselves a profit at the expense of others. If you really feel that guilty about it you can always cancel your extra order and allow people who haven't been able to, a chance to order their own, there isn't a need to do a giveaway even if that's a nice idea.

definitely and you’re absolutely right! I can l go about and cancel the orders. my thing is that if I cancel it, will it show that it’s available again or will it still show sold out? that’s my only concern & so I feel like the giveaway option may be better if I’m only having someone pay for shipping instead of full price?

Really happy to see that they're restocking it again, I wasn't expecting them to put it up on the Mexico store! but I think I will leave alone my order at the UK store, since it is imported anyways.

i don’t have a record player, mostly due to the fact that i’m a student and can’t spend that much money on vinyl, but ultraviolence is my favourite album of all time and i’ve always dreamed of having the ripped jeans cover

 

although, now that it’s being stocked again, i’m scared that i’m just wasting my money on something that’ll just be collecting dust for years, which isn’t fair and i don’t want it to happen
