This never made sense to me. Not defending homophobia whatsoever, but thinking genocide is acceptable because that country has people that are homophobic is an insane take. It’s not fair to generalize every single person in a country, especially when there’s a large portion who are innocent children. Plenty of other countries that also have rampant homophobia/racism/etc but no one is obliterating their whole country. It’s never okay to kill anyone. They’re just using these excuses to justify their actions.

Ceasefire negotiations were stalled for a few hours today, and israeli attacks continued. The ceasefire has now reportedly taken effect, with 3 israeli hostages being released in exchange for 95 Palestinian prisoners later today.
