Ariana Grande was snubbed big time with We Can’t Be Friends for SOTY and ROTY. Let’s be real- Fortnite did not deserve those noms (other songs worthy off the album but not that one), it’s not the best song nor was it a huge hit to warrant the nomination in those categories. Eternal Sunshine also deserved AOTY but that category was stacked

Also just realized WCBF didn’t even get pop solo nomination, that is actually crazy. The Grammys are becoming too predictable, we don’t need Beyoncé and Taylor Swift nominated for every single award.

Just now, Candy Necklace said:

Ariana got three- pop dance recording, pop duo, and pop vocal album. She deserved at least one for WCBF which got none

oh work i only saw yes, and from my very quick glances okayyyyyy

Nothing gives you a bigger whiplash than news that Grammy nominations are being announced :trisha3: Wasn't the ceremony like yesterday!?!??! Or the news that Lana was nominated for 5 Grammys...

Time moves way too fast and I always realize that when the award season starts

i dont gaf about grammies since its all a sham but i hope charli wins some of the nine nominations! i'll doubt she'll win it all and taylor is for sure going to win this year, not that i think she's deserving of it. charli had the best year out of all the pop girls imo, she deserves it. i want chappell to win too!

Kind of extremely solid? Doesn't feel like any pandering curveballs. Do not let this read as though I am a Sabrina Carpenter fan though.

I'm glad that Charli got so many nominations, she deserves to win many awards, I'm happy that Brat was a cultural phenomenon but it also irritates me that it took so long for her to achieve this mainstream attention as a solo artist. But I'm so happy for her. I'm also glad for Sabrina and Chappell, women rule the music scene for sure!

That being said, I want Beyoncé to win AOTY because she deserves it for once, I was surprised when I found out that she never had an AOTY, I'm still mad about the Renaissance snub. Cowboy Carter was a huge moment when it was released, it was an instant classic and one of the highlights of the music industry going gone country moment.

Brat is indisputable album of the year no other album can hold a candle to its cultural impact and it will always have that regardless of an award.

People overestimate Taylor's chances to be honest. She always gets so little awards from many nominations, especially the major ones. This year she won 2 awards from 7 nominations, in 2021 she won 1 award out of 6 nominations and also lost all the major categories in the Lover, Evermore and Red TV eras. I think that she will take the Best Pop Duo/Group award in 2025. Others should win the other categories she's nominated in
