"Swan Song. It’s on my album Honeymoon. It’s the antithesis of hopefulness. It’s about trying to find beauty in giving up. If I had my way, I would continue to persist in all areas of my life, but it can be quite challenging because I can be too trusting too soon."

@Pantene123 Bestie can you share any insights into this album’s process like has she created multiple versions of the album atp? (Like maybe an upbeat/folky one? Or a heavy country version?)

Idk if my question makes sense I guess I’m curious about how this process works for you like do you hear the music intended to be grouped together into one album? Or are you just hearing a random selection of songs that she’s made and that she’ll pick and choose to make an album?

Lana herself described the songs as half cooked and said she didn’t want to make them something they’re not, so Sirens (Lana’s version) makes perfect sense to me

I hope she scrapes this mess to work with Calvin Harris on a banger album

One of the things that bothers me is that LDR used to be cool—and she's stepped way from that, probably with good reason, maturing, and experience, to write songs mentioning doing the laundry, watching television, and walking to the mall—then, I think, made an effort to reclaim that cool with some of the OB tracks, especially A&W and Taco Truck---but a title like The Right Person Will Stay is about as far from cool and as clumsy as I can imagine. This is my problem to cope with, I know.

A lowkey acoustic album sounds amazing to me. I'm picturing something timeless with classics like this

One of the best ever.
