I see a lot of people saying she should release unreleased songs on her upcoming albums and I honestly dont think that would be a good idea (especially because people are naming songs from more than a decade ago like PSB, NLMG, PMIAM...)

I feel like if she was to release unreleased songs itd be better to release a single album full of them and not just a couple of songs in one album because that would be a mess (Talking about Blue Banisters)

I dont like the idea of releasing things that are already heard, maybe releasing things that we dont know of even if theyre old would be the best

The only unreleased track I’d want on TRPWS is one we haven’t heard yet like Loved You Then and Now. RBFY seems to fit the album (at least the title), but if it is indeed on it, I hope it’s a 14th track and not one of the 13, as much as I love it. I didn’t have a problem with unreleased and leaked tracks on BB because it was a long album, with 16 songs. But 13 is a bit short, to include leaked tracks tbh

Not if it's got 9 minute bangers like VB or AW tho. Quality over quantity I say.

We got an album with a bunch of recycled songs (BB) and that's fine. She can drop all the good unreleased one day when she's short of cash. We're not there yet.

I dont think the albums gonna have any unreleased tracks unless RBYF makes the cut. Lanas made it seem that this album has been in the works for a while so i think its safe to say that most the tracks are new or if there is any old unreleased ones they've been reworked.

And I hate to be a negative nancy but im just being realistic in saying that the albums only gonna be 13 tracks. If RBFY or any other unreleased song is on the album its gonna be one of the 13.

Supposedly the album was finished in September/October and lana made the insta post in Novemeber so its probably the case that were getting the amount of tracks that she initially said.

Would love to be proved wrong though

True but Brightsun here said that she hadn’t yet given the album to her label, that it wasn’t mastered completely at the time she posted about it (if I remember correctly). So there’s a chance she could have included RBFY afterwards in December or even January. Not that I wish for this to be true (it means we’d have to wait to at least June for the album, if not July or August)

Totally agree with what you said: both A&W and VB are masterpieces and long tracks. We need another one of these slow burners in the future. But that being said, VB is part of 14-track album and A&W, part of a 16-track LP. I want both quality and quantity :oprah5:

NFR still had The Next Best American record which was a 10 year old track that everyone had already heard. It didn't need to be there.

As for OB, I always skip the interludes, Fingertips and Kintsugi. So, 12 woulda been more realistic for me.

Everyone's dropping so many tracks per record (The Weeknd, Beyonce) to boost their streaming numbers. I'm glad Person isn't following that route. But, again, the songs better be fucking fire.

All Brightsun said was "Henry master come on Is not even sent to label yet" in December so i suppose your right but i lowkey just have a feeling that it isnt on the album. But looking back they said that not all songs on Lasso were new so if TRPWS is really just Lasso re titled then maybe theres a chance for some unreleased songs other than RBFY

I might be the only one here who loves The Next Best American Record :bebe:

when I talk about unreleased being released, I mean for her to do something like she did with LMLYLAW and Pink Champagne. Redo the song entirely and give it a new meaning 😭... my wishes for unreleased for the album r LOWWWW low, I really dont want so much of the teased songs from b4 but id love to see her to rename an old Song entirely...

Honestly, she took that SNL thing way too seriously.

If I were her, I'd be there next week poking fun of myself, by singing even worse. And then perform a total slay in the end with some high notes and just wink.

Instead, Lana cancelled all her TV performances like forever. It's a tad childish. She wasn't so bad as much as people made her out to be, and she was beautiful. It was iconic.

I have to agree but in parts. I would say that Lana may actually be exaggerating a bit by never stepping on TV or she just never liked performances of that kind. But it's worth remembering how much she was canceled because of this and how this performance made her lose many grammys . But she has proven herself many times after the UV release and how good she was at live performance (dare to say UV/Paradise era had one of the BEST performances she has done) UV was an escape key for Lana to get out of the spotlight of criticism and a great response for those who didn't take her seriously but she still refuses.
