It's true that they are fairly generic lyrics. I just love the fact that these songs are so opposite in nature to each other. COOL is about being on good terms with your ex and hanging out with them. HELLO is about trying to reach out to your ex who doesn't wanna meet u, let alone talk to you HELLO : I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be.
