renaissance 8,329 Posted November 22, 2015 Sold 900k in the first day - iTunes alone. What kind of queen. 900k downloads in ONE FUCKING DAY. 24 hours. 1440 minutes. 86400 seconds. 900k. Imagine what it'll sell in the first week???? 3-4million is really not out of the question right now. It is literally #1 in 98 countries right now. What kind of fucking queen. Coney Island King 26,002 Posted November 22, 2015 25 sells BOOMING 300 THOUSAND copies on its FIRST day sale in the UK. UK album first week sales set to rival some of the UKs biggest sales in the HISTORY of music. 25 sells GOD-LIKE 900 thousand copies on iTunes Alone in the US on it's FIRST day of release. Early U.S sales figure suggest 25 could sell 2.5 MILLION copies in one week which would then break the U.S record of highest first week in the history of the existence of MANKIND. Trash Magic 28,381 Posted November 22, 2015 500k iTunes sales were pre-orders so beyoncé still holds the record for highest first 24hr sales on iTunes 0 Quote "It's 2011, and we should all be aware of exactly how fast technology is developing" - Lana Del Rey

evilentity 13,343 Posted November 23, 2015 @ShadyMusicFacts Wait... You're trying to compare first day post-release iTunes sales of an album that cannibalized those sales with a month-long pre-order and physical release and leaked a few days early with the first day sales of an album that was surprise released and initially available only on iTunes. (And yet it still came close.) An apples and oranges comparison if there ever was one. Or to continue the fruit metaphors, an extremely cherry-picked statistic. Honestly, this comes off kinda desperate. Also, it's not clear to me anyone in the industry actually separates out pre-orders in calculating first day sales. At the end of the day, everybody knows 25 outsells Beyoncé in any scenario given the same release strategy. So this is pretty useless. 3 Quote Stalking you has sorta become like my occupation.
