if Lana's albums were a people, almost all of reactions on marrying Trumpie will be like:

People need to STOP associating her to supporting Trump.

If her husband, and I repeat, her husband, supports him then that's his own problem and only his. She has openly talked about how she hates Trump back in the LFL days, she even did witchcraft during the election time. Some here says that now she's "radio silence". That's a right of hers, she's not obligated to openly say something each election year. And now that she's married to Jeremy, if he's a Trump supporter, it's her right to not say anything online. 

 

If you guys are judging her by this, then I guess now it's the time when we see who are the REAL fans and who are the ones who only think she's nice when she says what they like to hear.

Sorry guys, but the world doesn't work like that and that's perfectly fine. I don't have a single problem with her if she doesn't want to say something in public about politics and you should be the same.

Also remember: we don't choose who we'll fall in love, the heart has it's things

Not saying she supports Trump, but me personally, i'm afraid she is throwing away all of the ideals she had fought for in the past for a man such as Jeremy.

 

It's not about judging her, it's about being critical about her decisions and the things she stands for (or we think she does), i love Lana with all my heart, i think she has truly saved my life in some sort of way, but that does not mean us as fans have to let slide the fact she married a publicly and apparently proud MAGA supporter after the political idea she has built over the years.

I do feel like during honeymoons release and several years after people praised Freak and the other more "conventional" singles over the album tracks. Also a lot of the new tiktok stans wanna pick the album tracks to seem like they're in the know and be "different". Art Deco was severely underrated and no one gaf about it and its ghetto line for the longest time but after it went viral on tiktok its become everyones top 3 (which they slept on her like wbk shes a star child) but ig you could say Freak isn't necessarily underrated but its just glossed over today ig (maybe that makes it underrated idk )

 

Also I do have to say I do prefer the demo version... Love both but I really love the vacation bridge, both are fab tho like each one displays a different mood of the song. Demo is light and playful the final being moody and more literal

um…. idk about that… art deco was definitely a popular one back then along with freak. the ghetto line even caused a stir online to some degree because people thought it was shade for azealia banks lol i think even azealia herself thought that iirc she posted a tweet or sumn  if anything, i'd say art deco is more forgotten today than it was at the time of release

Art Deco has been very viral since late 2022 and it is the most streamed song from Honeymoon, it has also amassed 70 million and 47 million views on YouTube from different videos. Even a lot of non-Lana Instagram reels use that audio. Those "Freak transitions to Art Deco" videos have like millions of views as well.

 

If you notice the pattern, Lana songs with (trap) beats/upbeat songs get very popular amongst general public, TikTokers and other locals (like Cinnamon Girl and Doin Time from NFR).

 

I used to be a massive fan of Art Deco but after it got viral on TikTok, I really got tired of the song and I play it less than I used to. Because it already got played everywhere on social media. Which is sad because now I understand that "TikTok ruined the song" more. That being sais, I still appreciate the song and it's in my top 5 from Honeymoon. It's one of her songs with prettiest production.

 

Also, I have never given a fuck about the "baby you're so ghetto" line, it doesn't have deeper meaning either to analyze and dig it.

I'm afraid we'll never get an unreleased album or aka re-release. This year would've been a great chance, but instead she decided to just give us a mediocre summer single. Meanwhile Taylor has released four albums in the past two years and is more successful than ever. Another wasted year.

It really does seem like she is not motivated by success in that way. And she seems to have different priorities right now. At least we got Yayo officially released. Even if the AKA version is superior.

Yeah. The album track favorites between the general public and fans are similar but also very different, fans mostly have their own cult favorites over the years. I had noticed that somewhere between Lust For Life and NFR eras Honeymoon album had become kind of fandom 'cult classic' and it had become very loved during the pandemic years in contrast to 2015-2017 when it was bashed and criticized by fans for being boring. Now I see that most fans have NFR, Ultraviolence and Honeymoon in their top 3.

when the world was at war we kept dancing, god bless america and all the beautiful women in it, beautiful people beautiful problems and tomorrow never came are one of her best songs, these have one of her best lyrics/lines and melodies. these songs are the perfect symbols of old lana (btd, uv and honeymoon eras) transitioning to the current lana we have (nfr, cotcc, banisters, ocean blvd).
