I didn’t realize the “collector CDs” would be in pretty jumbo box cases - so I just have a copy of the manuscript standard CD and the Albatross and Black Dog vinyls. I really want the XL collector CD box tho bc I feel like I can burn The Anthology onto a disc and have a proper 2 disc case for the whole album 😭

This album is tons and tons better than Midnights. The critics reception for Midnights should've been the real reception for TTDP and TTDP's reception should've been the real reception for Midnights. I know that people and music critics are tired of Taylor but this album is like a whole new island in her discography, it's a whole new universe of emotions. The grief stage concept was kinda genius ngl.

I think she's at her fame's peak but I think in retrospect, this album would be considered one of her bests

i said that too a couple of years ago about 1989, especially since in the lover era it felt like she's was dropping off a bit, but this past year has been an incredible awakening from that. i'd say anything is possible for her at this point

i think this album suffers from the lack of editing, not only in terms of what tracks were going to be released but also in the songwriting. some of the songs in it do sound like what taylor sounds like to people who dont like her music - the title track for exemple. but i do love it and i see the vision, i just think the mixed reviews she's getting are going to push her into a more focused writing, and also i think she's switching producers in the next album
