I said she picks her lead singles based on the fact that they sound the least like the prior album to make each era feel distinct. In this case, Fortnight sounds least like any tracks off of Midnights…??

It's funny as fuck to me. Billie shaded Taylor whether she wants to admit it or not, Taylor is butthurt about it and so not only is Billie basically doing what she complained about Taylor doing but it won't even pay off now in chart position.

i work with a bunch of 28-35 year olds on average and ALL of them love her and our companies most liked posts on LinkedIn are Taylor related 💀💀

i guess it doesn't help that i'm constantly surrounded by people who make it their life's mission to make sure nobody thinks they like taylor swift. very true that she is still generally beloved, but it almost feels like we're returning to that period in her early career when it was almost shameful to say you like her music. i haven't gone on twitter in months, so i can't imagine what it's like on there right now
