Lana Nominated at the World Soundtrack Awards 2013

The World Soundtrack Academy has announced the list of its nominees for the 2013 Awards in three of five categories: Film Composer of the Year, Best Original Score of the Year and Best Original Song Written Directly for a Film. The names of the winners will be announced at the World Soundtrack Awards & Concert on Saturday, October 19, the closing night of the 40th edition of Film Fest Gent. Lana Del Rey is nominated for Best Original Song Written Directly for a Film with Young and Beautiful. Check the nominees here:

I did a check on awards packman (aka the one and only the magnificent :godlaugh: Adele :godlaugh: ) list and this particular one she doesn't have YET. Took forever to check the list since is so extense ya know.

Anyway I wish Lana gets this prize, that I never heard before by the way, because she deserves a lot of recognition and Adele doesn't have space left to hang awards on her wall or enought shelves to put all of them.

Amazing news, she deserves so much admiration for this song, it is effortlessly beautiful, the lyrics are captivating and her vocals are sensational.  The song fit the movie so well, it was obviously my favourite part of the movie, and my favourite song from the soundtrack.  Please win this over Adele, Lana needs more appreciation for her work!
