I like the Japanese in Childlike Things, it’s a cute track but not sure yet if ill keep it on my playlist, well see. And while i have no idea why North South or whatever is on it, if we didn’t know she was on it you would never be able to tell tbh. Striptease is my favourite. Sticky is a close second. Based on descriptions i honestly thought this would be mid, but it’s amazing. Love 24 Hour Dog and Drums of Death. The rest of the album is good to decent. Keep It Hold It gives me Kate Bush vibes. jazzlessbaby 1,667 Posted January 24 I listened to Childlike Things before the rest of the album and it was cute, but listening within the context of the whole album Anyway, some of the sonic choices feel so random and abrupt, especially on the transition of Striptease for me. I love the album, though it's not entirely what I would have expected from a techno-trance-inspired album, which is a first for me, since all I consume is R&B majority of the time. The title track is still a highlight and I fear nothing has topped it. I'm not disappointed with Room of Fools at all - I've actually been looking forward to it since the snippets we've heard and I love it 24hr Dog - absolutely flawless! I know she teased a deluxe, but unless we get Lonely, But Exciting Road, she can keep it. Sticky and Perfect Stranger are a couple of my favorites but others are growing on me as well. viktoria 3,211 Posted January 24 i'm honestly underwhelmed... the first 4 tracks are excellent then it falls apart. i'm confused why this was being hyped as a techno club record when most of the album is midtempo. striptease is good though but like that's it for me. childish things having north west is also a choice, a horrible choice! i guess i'm just very tired of artists saying "my album is this!" when at most 3-4 tracks are the album actually are that. the deluxe better be serving some german techno bangers or she can keep it. 1 Quote last.fm Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
