Haven't kept up with The Weeknd for a minute but enjoyed a good amount of this album, plus transitions/gapless songs make me c*m sooooo- here are my favorites:

São Paulo. I know it was a single but didn't get to this one when it was released. Absolute BANGER!

Timeless. I DID listen to this one when it was released but it's still great, the production is fantastic and yeah, ever since I was a kid, I have been legit. Relatable.

Enjoy The Show. R&B realness, Future eats, the more I listen to this one, the more I think it's my favorite but it currently is...

Drive. No words. I feel like that one picture of SpongeBob levitating in the air with headphones in. Just floating, so chill. Kinda wish Lana was on this one instead.

 

My honorable mentions go to The Abyss, Cry For Me, Baptized In Fear, Niagara Falls and Without A Warning. 

Really wish Reflections Laughing didn't have that corny voicemail in the middle, it just kills it for me.

The Weeknd character was After Hours and he died in that era. Dawn FM already felt different from everything previously released but the whole concept was about closing the chapter and entering something new, so perfect to put The Weeknd to the rest after it.

I believe After Hour is the character dying, Dawn FM is the purgatory (he explained in an interview that he wanted to have a radio concept to simulate waiting in your car at traffic feeling) and this album is the after life/this character’s own hell. When Dawn FM was released, he teased the second trilogy. It was also hinted in the album as well, as after life commercials.

Love your love for Sao Paolo (BANGER NEXT LEVEL) and Timeless but not having Open Hearts among your mentions is legit criminal and you should be locked up (joking).

Why is his Spotify debut in a day so tiny (58 millions on 22 tracks) 

This is comparable to the other two albums in the trilogy (even a little less), but personally I expected figures of Taylor or Drake's level

Upd: Okay, singles really weren't inspiring 

because ever since dawn fm he been increasingly flopping (with the exception of popular i guess…), the idol did some damage to his image and hurry up tomorrow had terrible promotion, it was released way too late and his decision to hide the collaborators is also not helping. i bet many lana fans don’t even know she's on the new album
