Nightmare Boy Online 236 Posted October 8, 2014 "I wanted the album to have the same flow as [Pink Floyd’s] ‘Dark Side of the Moon’. Melody is more important to me than lyrics. I write words really quickly - mostly random thoughts from my diaries."Read the whole interview here:http://nightmareboyonline.weebly.com/exclusive-interview.html 3 Quote www.insidemyintrovertmind.blogspot.gr

Nightmare Boy Online 236 Posted January 8, 2015 Barrie has answered to some fans on a recent instagram post. Here is the sum up of what he said (plus some more like his fave food, song etc): 1.His debut album will be released in March/April. He is already working on his second album. 2.He will play in Glasgow this summer. 3.Riverside was recorded over 2 years ago. 4.He wanted to cover 'Some Velvet Morning' but Lana's producer thought that had been done to many times. So they did 'Summer Wine' Also check this cover out: 7 Quote www.insidemyintrovertmind.blogspot.gr
longtimeman 9,001 Posted January 8, 2015 4.He wanted to cover 'Some Velvet Morning' but Lana's producer thought that had been done to many times. So they did 'Summer Wine' Thanks @@Nightmare Boy Online. Point 4 is interesting - I think the 'producer' made the right call; SVM is a cooler song, but SW fits their voices much better.

Wryta Thinkpiece 3,345 Posted February 3, 2015 Barrie tweeted saying he is quitting music... https://mobile.twitter.com/NightmareBjo/status/562092949580705792 It's not April Fool's. This isn't even funny.

Just another opinion but Barrie always seems to be going through some kind of shit as part of his grunge/emo aesthetic. However, this particular tweet seems a sly parodying of LDR, whose been known to say stuff like that, such as: "What else is there to say after BTD?", "I'm retiring", "I wish I were dead already". If I were LDR I would think it pretty sweet that Barrie still thinks about her. But on a different topic, does anybody know if Barrie's instagram of Sky Ferreira (Jan 12, '15) is stock footage or a real photo he took? I haven't been able to find this image anywhere, and she looks mighty utraviolentish to me. http://instagram.com/p/xxtDyvRdQr
Nightmare Boy Online 236 Posted March 6, 2015 We had a little chat with Barrie. He told us he is about to finish the short film which is about 30 minutes long and it's like a live performance film "but in a surreal eerie Donnie darko way" (his exact words) with additional compositions. It is expected in April. Also he liked the new songs more so he will release them first instead of the first track-list he announced. (so i guess no Riverside any soon. but i didn't ask him) The new HATE EP is produced by Manny Neito who was taught by Steve Albini (producer of Nirvana's 'In Utero'). He wanted to work with old recording machines. It is heavier than his previous songs. Sort of grunge and country too. 2 Quote www.insidemyintrovertmind.blogspot.gr

slang 1,532 Posted March 24, 2015 Hate EP is out. The 3 new songs are strong, imo. My only complaint is he hasn't got around to posting the lyrics (Darlin (I'm fine) needs them) and other credits yet. For now, you can listen to his EP at his website http://www.nightmareboy.com/ and on Spotify.
comeintomybedroom 8,657 Posted April 2, 2015 I just bought his EP. Really love it right now~Swear I read something earlier that he's expecting a child. I don't remember which thread I skimmed it over, but I want to hear more about it.
