Deleted User 1,353 Posted February 5, 2015 Shrines is one of the albums that I've most listened to in my life... I love it... Another Eternity feels bleak compared to it :c Minimalist but in a mainstream angle, there's nothing as interesting and terribly original as in shrines... I hope it grows on me, though.... Found in lastfm a couple of folks that have the Shrines Instrumentals, already asked them but no answer... Does anyone know where I could get em?
Hundred Dollar Bill 21,805 Posted February 5, 2015 Another Eternity sounds similar to Shrines, (though not as dark) which I don't mind, but it's just not nearly as interesting. I'm a bit disappointed with it. That being said, there are still some really amazing songs there. My favorite/The best 3 are definitely... Stillness in Woe Bodyache Flood on the Floor

National Anthem 9,904 Posted February 6, 2015 Just finished my first listen straight through and it's a really great record!! It was a bit hard to digest and pick faves but "Begin Again" stood out, probably because I had listened to it a bunch before though.

iseeyouupsidedown 931 Posted March 3, 2015 I wasn't sure what the general reception to the album is, but I think Shrines was better overall... Begin Again is amazing and got me really hyped but overall I think the new album is weaker than it could've been.
comeintomybedroom 8,657 Posted March 4, 2015 I waited 'til yesterday to listen to anything other than Push Pull or Begin Again, and it was so worth the wait! This album is so good! It's the best album I've heard this year so far.

iseeyouupsidedown 931 Posted March 4, 2015 I'm holding off until it's release! But I expect that be one of the best too. lol, I assumed you had heard it and were saying you don't like it as much, so I was making a joke. But in that case, I stand by what I said in a literal sense!
comeintomybedroom 8,657 Posted March 20, 2015 They were so cool on Conan tonight! It made me so excited to go to one of their shows!
Hundred Dollar Bill 21,805 Posted March 20, 2015 @@comeintomybedroom we share the same favorites! (except begin again lol) I'm still not overall as impressed with the album as I would've liked to be, but I really love that little handful of songs. Push Pull is also really good IMO; it has a beautiful bridge.

National Anthem 9,904 Posted September 17, 2015 Hello I saw them live and it was absolutely killer. It made me appreciate their music so much more and I jammed out so hard. Bought a t-shirt that is the Shrines album cover and I was front row right in the middle. It was probably my favorite concert I've ever been to. Their stage set is so cool and the setlist was great. "Obedear" is still their best song, fight me
