I know that's not the official title, and I also know there's no official tracklist. But I see a lot of people on tiktok being interested in tracks like I Wanna Be With U and Bounce, tracks that are not Taxi, the only unreleased track that was getting the spotlight since it leaked. I think it should stay unreleased, if the album drops one day it would lose its magic.

It is just unnecessary at this point in her career, she would be better off releasing an album of all brand new material.

I feel like there is a lot of misinformation around when it comes to this album by fans and Charli herself because I was there when it was leaking and there wasn't a set in stone album title but we had many leaked documents talking about the budget, marketing, artwork, and at least two different official draft tracklists.

 

Personally I think she should have released it when it was meant to be released. I feel like that PC Music type sound is kinda dated now and I think her re-working the tracks in the modern day would be the thing that kills the magic of this album and it was an amazing album.

 

I think it would be a fun little surprise drop if she did, but it feels unnecessary at this point in time like @Lanaparadiserey said...

I think it should probably stay unreleased I feel like MANY of the SOPHIE tracks that make the album special would likely end up cut and replaced by later songs like Boys and After the Afterparty.

If she was to release it i hope she'd just take the fanmade tracklist and upload the files and be done with it bc at this point that feels like the album.

XCX World has some of my favorite charli songs ever but it's moment has come and gone and I'd rather her focus in new music then digging up old leaks and sloppily releasing them at the hight of her career

This is the reworked version, the original demo was produced and recorded with diplo just shy of Coachella 2017, where she performed it live with Halsey.

that ship has sailed a LONG time ago

 

the only way for it to work in her career would have been if she had released it as part of the mixtapes in 2018 when there was no album out. a few more droplets, 3rd mixtape and then charli in 2019. but now it feels out of place and would be weird

I think it might come from one of the huck shoots she did for hifn? if so it would have been on her instagram originally, here's a VK post with this image and another, they could have picked a random picture but this contemporary thread by them all use photos from the era so I think it's from that time

im p sure the photo itself goes back to at LEAST 2016 so idk if this is a very palpable theory... i did stumble upon that VK post however! And there's a slightly larger crop included... but when i reverse image searched THAT image, literally NOTHING came up. its driving me crazy lol
