I am SO glad she's calling this out and I hope it gains some traction. these artists (though I will say this is the label too) are just putting themselves into a catch 22 position as they'll have to keep releasing more and more variants to try and top their numbers. I wish billboard (or whoever) would stop it too, I'm not sure how they would counteract it, apparently a load of k-pop stans were buying singles on different accounts so they reduced the amount digital sales counted for and upped streaming, so maybe that only the standard edition would count or something? 6 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But as much as I love her let's not forget that HTE had 10 variants and four of them were like: yellow, pale yellow, brown, pale brown.... were they really necessary ?
