Currently drawing and listening music on spotify. Coachella came on and I think I finally start to like it a bit more!

I heard somewhere that dopamine is released more the more you listen to a song and eventually you'll like it. :toofunny:

That has happened with a few Lana songs for me. I didn't like GBA  at all when LFL came out, but now it's in my top 3 favs. It's weird how that works.

You call me lavender, you call me sunshine.

I remember 5 years ago when her music used to give a feeling of warmth & honesty. Now she's just another plastic pop star who let go of her unique style & vision for commercial success.

^ THIS is the reason people don't want their faves to become famous & mainstream. I keep my fingers crossed for Lana these days.

Ikr? Safe and Sound (from the Hunger Games soundtrack) was the proof that she actually could make something enjoyable.

Now all of her success and popularity is based on the controversy that she and her relationship with other celebrities like Kanye and Katy P make, instead of her music.

Same. I haven't skipped Coachella in a little while. To be honest, I never disliked it, it's just that it's pretty underwhelming if we compare it to any of the other 15 tracks on the album.

I remember when 'So Legit' was leaked in 2013 & the classy manner both Gaga & Lana treated the gossip like grown-ass women - they didn't feed the hype or made any profit out of it. I really admire such traits in famous people.

I'm still loving Video Games, everything on the song it's beautiful and nostalgic, one of her best songs, I'm really glad that Lana wons recognition for the song, such a masterpiece  :poordat:  :gclap:

omg the reycists acting like they're above "commercial pop music" when Lana ran to The Weeknd and Max Martin for a hit(still ended up with a panned flop song, Taylor can't relate), hopped onto the trap trend(came up w a song as embarrassing as Coachella), collabed w all the trendy rappers(still a huge flop) and last but not least, made a song w G-eazy(scapped and given to Halsey lmao). Like shut the fuck up, your fave is clearly NOT above commercial success.

Anyhow, nice of Taylor to give some exposure to certain struggling acts. Charity.
