Text Book really is that bitch huh, like I've gone a couple days without listening to the 3 songs, but damn every time I go back to listen to them they hit me even harder and I fall in love with them even more, especially text book.

 

Funny thing is that when I first heard the 3 songs Text book was instant, and BB/WW were growers, but now I love them all 3 with Textbook just being slightly above the other 2

but she kinda confirmed the inspo was from live through this when she commented on courtney’s instagram post, at least that’s what I thought  I think the reason people criticize her so much is because none of her ideas are really innovative or new and it’s kinda lame to not give credit to the artists before her, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t talented. lana does take a lot of inspiration from past artists but she’s always made it known and created something new out of it. 

 

but yeah idk why she’s brought up frequently in this thread specifically, i guess we’re really in a drought

Exactly! The only similarity is that Olivia’s first two singles were about a sad feeling, but that’s not what she is here for

If July 4th is the new September 5th, and COTCC came out on March 18th instead--which was a 194 days after September 5th--LDR8 will come out 194 days after July 4th, which is Friday January 14th, 2022.
