I so agree agree with this!!!! I compiled her best radio performances last night and you are so right! She did amazing on NPR and MPR + BBC during Born to Die era and again for Honeymoon. It would be a blessing.

'Lust for life' is a common phrase... like it means something other than just that one album, can ppl stop crying over her "copying" it from Iggy Pop? I'm sure hundreds of people have said they have a lust for life?? Iggy Pop didn't invent it and he doesn't own it, get over it....

I doubt it, I don't think she really goes to those kind of events very often. This ones focus is mainly on fashion, where as Lana seems to go to only big award shows when she's nominated, like - The Brits etc

This has all been said over and over again. Some points are truly valid and sales matter on some level but it's not everything. If you don't enjoy where she's going you don't have to continue to follow her. I am fine with people offering their opinions and insights but sometimes I wish there was a little more support and positivity on here because you can also recognize that while her commercial appeal has diminished, she has been doing a lot better with critics (LFL aside), who have finally understood what she is about and who see the maturity in her music. She has changed on a personal level, and her music has changed. That's not a bad thing. While she's not as big as she was in the BTD era she is still one of the biggest musicians in the world and we don't need to constantly diminish that. She is what she is now and the constant convo about wishing she was someone else will never change that

i am worried for this album. everything about the release is just too messy and random.

I don’t care for the release date because I have to think about the meltdowns of the emo fans over how she sold out to the mainstream and about the laments of the chart chasers on how boring are the acoustic songs and the rest of the collabs. Instead I’m waiting patiently for the LFL video and for her first professionally recorded live performance of any single from LFL

Compared to everyone else out there at the moment, she's still gonna serve us music that is gonna be 23989248 times better than what's already out there.
 
She has never really been commercial since UV as another member said, but that doesn't mean she's a flop.
 
On Spotify, Lana is one of the best for streaming (79th in the world) which may  not seem great, but if you think of all the artists out there that is pretty amazing!
 
In my opinion, she is in no way a flop and if she doesn't want to do loads of promo I support that too (although I think she has done quite a lot this era e.g.snapchat filter, love posters)

Her album won't be out next month. I think Katy will release it in July.
