If she doesn't care about charting and the performance of her music, why do YOU care so much? Venice Bitch and Mariners Apartment Complex are even better and just as good as her past music.

Who cares tbh none of her singles were hits on the charts anyway, she'll probably still get a #1 or #2 album, an that for a 6th album with barely any promo is quite incredible

I mean... I don't think she had any illusions that this would be a huge hit. I think they are just songs and cute little videos she liked and wanted to put out. I wish she would promote herself more too and put more effort into her singles and videos, but it's clear she doesn't really want to do any of that any more and that's just her choice.

Or she can continue making good music and not give two fucks about a “poor” chart performance. The woman has made millions and BTD is still charting. She’s just fine.

I am shocked and incredibly sad. The YouTube video for Mariners Apartment Complex will hardly exceed one million views in 24 hours... How is that possible? Do you have any explanation? Indeed, Lana has never been Adele or Taylor Swift, but her video views last year with Love or Lust For Life were pretty decent though. Even Meghan Trainor and Floptina did have better results! 

Brazil loves Lana SO much, ugh <3 Let's keep streaming on Spotify and buy the track on iTunes if you can

Like someone said before, these tracks might not even be on the album. Just from the same album sessions that they liked but didn't make it onto the official tracklist so they decided to give them the justice they deserved and released them as singles

i also think its them testing the waters because they wouldn't release the lead single in september and then the album all the way in february or march. that'd be too large of a gap

Yes I unfortunately agree I'm basically only seeing that as a mean of getting a new shiny well-designed and made (!) official product but hey, this isn't fatherjohnmistyboards
