That Spotify playlist Lana created is a mess. How can a Best of LDR album not include West Coast, Shades of Cool, Brooklyn Baby, Pretty When You Cry, Music To Watch Boys To, Salvatore and so on??? I mean, at least a few UV and HM songs deserved to be in that mix!
 
 
Also, WTF are Lucky Ones, Carmen and Radio doing in there?? I doubt anybody on this site would honestly say they are considered her best songs at all.  lmao    

To be honest, "Fame" & "All For Fame" sound ugly.
Not only that but the word fame in itself feels overused & her calling it either one of those would feel cliche. BAR as the title is perfect in my opinion it's not repeated so many times in the song & it sounds fresh & at the same time it's quintessentially Lana. It has that Americana reference & it has the sass of the BTD era, it's perfect. With just hearing it you'd think she's cocky but, within the context of the song it adds a flare of brilliance to it. That's what I feel & think at least.

Sorry but fuck Gaga, Bowie had a song called Fame decades prior. Other than gay bottoms no ones gonna see a song called Fame from Lana and think of Gaga.

can lana at least give us the fucking name of the album?? Like, that's not too much to ask for- and it'll let non-crazy fans know that she has an album coming. I don't think anyone that isn't obsessed w/ her has a clue that she has an album dropping this year. That would be the smart thing for her to do, but I think her and her management have yet to figure out how the music industry works lmao

there are so many unreleased songs that are better than serial killer and yet people still think "i want lana 2 release serial killer produced by emile haynie with nicki minaj remix!!1" as if thats a realistic concept whatsoever

So, do you think Lana would re record a few of her unreleased songs and put it on this album? Since she said I t's for us and stuff, I think it'd be really cute. I'd love "Kill Kill" bc I feel like that's a fan favorite.

This. She has a really good collection of songs that stand on their own as true masterpieces. Not many artists do, even very good ones. Works that are proof of her intellectual and emotional instincts, her love for music, whether it be pop or guitar-voice pieces. She is a modern classic, maybe not renown, but some of her stuff, even from her May Jailer days, is just transcendental and yes, immortal.

The pic looks like it's from a 90s shampoo commercial and the album title sounds equally kitschy. The only hope I have is that maybe sche went all-corny on purpose, but I'm afraid she just completely melted into a 14 year old's tumblr blog

ok i know it's never going to happen but all this witch stuff has me thirsting for her to do a psychedelic rock/pop album like something along the lines of Their Satanic Majesties Request by The Rolling Stones. maybe if i do enough spells my dream will come true

Yeah I think Chuck is more natural. You're right, Lana has a more unique look, also her nose is iconic.

Also, I think it'd be cool if she brought it back to her AKA style for LDR5. I would love a whole record of Pawn Shop Blues + Kill Kill + Yayo, so like stripped back but still cinematic and esoteric. She sounds beautiful with less production and fuss and just a guitar (I'm looking at you On Our Way  ). But I would also love her to do a concept album that has the same golden vintage feel that JFK, I Don't Wanna Go, Driving In Cars With Boys and Hollywood have (and even Angels Forever). I would kill for a concept album like that. It just feels like Lana.
