She’s wrote similar songs to it before though? Black roses and White roses are very similar thematically? I think it might just be a reaction to her only doing the “dumb” party girl theme a lot. Chemtrails title track is gorgeous-but the album is quite one note- it has some gorgeous deep cuts though- Tulsa Jesus freak, wild at heart and Dark but just a game warmed up on me A LOT

Pop 2 has some great work like track 10 but mostly hurts my ears with the extensive tune. Charli’s songwriting peak melodically and lyrically was prior to the Vroom Vroom ep(some of the tracks on N1 were concepts prior). Vroom Vroom is a great track but should have stayed a fan gem and not her most known “ fan” song-it just doesn’t work because it’s a kitschy hit but not her best.

The fact his career skyrocketed after saying the N word is crazy, top 10s hit in the US consistently when before they were unknown- it reeked of the best media campaign in country music tbh- nobody could have been so lucky. I hope Lana does not record any collabs, not out of dislike for Wallen as a person but what he represents to country music and Americans which lead to his success

Bruno Mars gets flak all the time for “cultural appropriation” so not true- tons of women like Chloe Bailey, Cassie have worked with chris brown and aside from a few comments on twitter no one is batting an eye. I really like Lana but she’s acting like a very unlikeable person lately/her support for Morgan Wallen(perhaps not racist but atleast ignorant) last night was the breaking point for me- she’s constantly acting karenish on social media and Glastonbury should axe her from their set for her rudeness.
