I think my biggest hope for LDR5 is that it's a fun record. I haven't felt a lot of whimsy or fun in Lana's work since BtD, honestly, which is okay-- Paradise, UV, and HM are all very rich, beautiful, but pretty serious albums, whereas Born to Die had a lot of playfulness and flirtatiousness that made it very exciting, even in tracks like NA and Blue Jeans. So did AKA, and a lot of the unreleased. I'm not saying she needs to put out a purely pop, dance-y record, but I would like a return to some excitement and attitude in her sound, which seems like the direction LDR5 could be going in, judging by certain *winks* and some of her insta vids.

omg Brooklyn Baby is her best song I have always hoped to get a full album with that vibe, hopefully LDR5 will at least a song in that direction

I really want this album won't sound anything like HM..
I wish this album would have more of a dark vibe and elements, kind of like Gods & Monsters and Cruel World, I think it will be awsome

I can't stand his music and I think he's kinda overrated. If somebody likes him, fine, but I definitely don't want him on my favorite artist's album. (I don't want any collabs on a Lana Del Rey album in general.)

I'd like to see something in colors of Paradise or even AKA. The Paradise cover looked so luxurious and dramatic, I loved it

actually i will be another one having a meltdown if she change the font. She never have used any other font on Honeymoon, the designer destroyed the aesthetic of all the albums. I didn't like the HM cover because the picture, i like the pic but the font man, its AWFUL

so many of us are gagging for more surf vibes from her   I also want more bad girl Lana, that's the subject where some of her more interesting lyrics come from imo.

I hope it's even more rock than Ultraviolence with a nice surf vibe.

Despite all this messiness, I still have a really good feeling for this album/era

What I am basically trying to say is that BTD and even UV transported me with the lyrics somewhere else. I could close my eyes and see the setting of the song right in front of me. While UV also kinda lacked when it comes to choruses, it had really well-written verses (mostly) and the production was awesome.
 
With HM it just all fell apart. Barely anything striked me. There were good songs on it for sure, but there was also too much filler.

Many of you assume it'll be a 2.0 situation, but that's never been the case.
 
I can tell the sound + visuals will be fresh, new, exciting

TV in Black and White is obviously her best song of all fvcking time! and Born to Die is the best album
