It's amazing how you take your time to get prepared!
However you should not make yourself crazy!

It wasn't really a rude refusal, but pretty much. At the premier of the Ride video she was walking past me up the aisle of the theater as the video was starting and I asked for her autograph. And she said she couldn't. A terrible regret.

The worst two words in the history of man. Granted, she was walking. Granted, her video was meant to be the main attraction and the timing was a bit inappropriate. Granted, she was surrounded by people. Granted, I was giving mad crazy juju the whole time, kind of hugging her unbidden and getting all shaky voiced. But come on, I brought my own Sharpies.

The Nrj Music awards is a ceremony here in France for french and international singers.

I'm hoping to meet Lana this year... and I am still trying to decide which photo I would like her to sign. Frankly, I can't stand when artists scribble over a random photo, so I usually spent hours looking for the perfect picture that does actually say something about the artist and/or their work. I'm happy that I did take the time because my Gaga autograph looks stunning... but back to Lana.
 
I can't really decide between the following two.

This photo kind of says something about loneliness, doesn't it? She somehow looks abandoned in this photo and the red motel sign says a lot about the aesthetic of her work.

In fact, I am so obsessed with these things that I even bought a specific red ink pen for Gaga to sign my picture. I will be getting a white one for Lana, that's why both photos are mainly dark or black. My goal is to have her write the following: 'To Felix. Make your life an art. Love, Lana (Del Rey).' I'd die if this actually happened.
 
Please tell me I am not the only one being this obsessed about... these kind of things.
 
By the way, LLLL, when and how did you meet her? Your photo with her is wonderful.

Basically, what you get is the following: one alcoholic drink, something to eat, an ~exclusive~ seat which is far from the stage. Also, you get to hang out in some """VIP""" lounge with other people that have too much money. But the most important thing: you get to feel special when entering the venue through a private entry and when parking your car in a reserved parking lot.
 
I mean, how ridiculous is that? There isn't even merch included and all of this crap costs you more than 200 bucks while the most expensive tickets is 50€ only.

You do know Lana use to be really easy to reach out to... and still is in many ways. Just a couple months ago you could of commented on her facebook status and she would reply. Just a couple months ago you could of messaged her on youtube and she'd respond. In several interviews she's stated she doesn't really use social media that much. Only as a promotional tool. So maybe she doesn't respond to all her fans tweets. Does she have to? No... not really. So just because she doesn't reach out to her fans on twitter and other social media websites any more, doesn't mean she doesn't reach out to the fans. Because she does.

They are playing Blue Jeans as the soundtrack for a commercial for a new tv show called Deception on NBC during halftime of the Bengals-Texans game. Hopefully we'll see it some and during the Vikings-Pakcers game on NBC next.

I like Team Lana but when you think about it do Beatles or Rolling Stones or Elvis fans have nicknames? But I do think it would be cool to be official members of Team Lana and have like t-shirts and hats and jackets. LOL.

Gaga's fans are called 'little monsters,' Justin Bieber's fans are called 'Bliebers'... etc!
 
What should Lana's fans be called?

When I say critics I mean the ones that should be taken seriously not blogs like Hipster Runoff that made a living of trashing her daily. I think that Lana exaggerates and dramatizes a little too much. Okay Brian Williams called her "one of the worst [performers] in 'SNL' history" and blogs and some print journals used it as a punch line quite a lot. They criticizedher looks and surgeries and the fact that she had money. Wasn't the turmoil in part Lana's fault since she never responded? isn't good that her father could afford her a good education and help her achieve her dreams? Why that is taken like a bad thing or even shameful? The fact that she did tried and fail before and didn't give up an act of perseverance? Why would she not answer directly questions about that? Why is not seeing as a good thing the fact she didn't give up on dreams? Lana had lots of albuns sells in US and good ciritcs also which for some reason she never talks about like it was erased of her memory or something.
 
So is Lana a cry baby or is she right? Do you think she is right about not doing even a "mini" tour in US as a response? Do you think Lana's attitude towards it all feeded all the rumors?

OMG, I used to love the Arsenio Hall show. Remember TLC performing on the show wearing condoms? Or Bill Clinton covering "Heartbreak Hotel" on his sax? Or Dave Koz?
 
Over the holidays I saw a promo on TV for a revival of the show coming this fall.

I'll let you in on a little secret, Maddy. For the most part, I can only wonder too. I have never lived in a household that had cable, so like Lana, my memories of watching MTV were at other people's houses. ~Yes, I am nostalgic of an era I never knew.~
 
Yes! I said on my Reydio covers show that she should cover AIC.
 
Probably the biggest upside to her rerecording "Yayo" for PE is that it increases the likelihood of getting to see her perform my favorite song live.

I hope so. I hate that bitch to hell as well. She even stole Lana's style.
 

When I met her she was mobbed~ it was crazy. There were about 50 of us who had been waiting for her for about 7 hours, and when she arrived like 100 people from the streets saw, came over, and took up some of her time. People kept asking who she was, then when they found out they joined the crowd. The mob of people ended up on the road and this guy --> went mental. People were really violent, shoving, and shouting. Lots of them were middle aged men and some guys who were probably in their 60s, which was a bit odd. Luckily I had Aunt Lana holding my hand for a while so I didn't get crushed

First of all hell yes I want to meet Lana!
I would love to meet her.
Hopefully she comes to Chicago sometime soon, and then I'd just stay after to meet her or go really early if its a weekend concert. That'd be sweet!! I'd give her a letter and a portrait and call it a day. Oh and get a picture of her kissing me or something that would be perfect haha.
 
Now...who knows how/when this will actually happen!
