Taikatalvi by Nightwish It's sung in Finnish I believe? Not entirely sure, but it's so soothing and fantastical. One of my favourite songs. Reminds me of winter, storytales and music boxes. And the way it blends into the next song Storytime is just beyond amazing. Next letter: K

Are the first two episodes of this season worth watching?

It pretty clear that the muffling lq sound started in the LFL area, in songs like White Mustang, Change, even Cherry tbh. It seems to be a part of this era too and I don't think it's all entirely in the way she recorded the snippets with her phone. The quality of vocal delivery just isn't the same as it was in BTD-Paradise or Honeymoon. UV doesn't count tho cause it was recorded live with the band (I think?). Idk, we'll see, as the 3 released songs don't seem to have it.

Is anyone else sick of these muffled, low quality vocals we are getting served?

The conclusion I made was that she convinced herself that it was, even though it wasn't. The friendship pretty much ended after that so she was maybe like "fuck you, you know that most intimate moment we had? I didn't even like it!" I mean, who the fuck really knows with bpd. It's tough.

This just doesn't line up, we don't care about the allegations, we care that you're making this into a joke. This is horrible shit to go through, fake or real. Don't think it's funny and cool or edgy to joke about it.

My opinion on this EP changed so much from first listen to like 10th listen. It came out as soon as I became a fan, but was still in critique-mode. At first I only liked Ride, blue velvet, gods and monsters, burning desire and Bel Air. I knew Cola, Body Electric and Yayo were beautiful and creative but something about them rubbed me the wrong way, but when I had time to properly listen to it all on a road trip, I quickly realised they were some of her best work. I thought American was boring but it really soothed me when I needed it and I love it for that. I think it's definitely her most talented album

I kinda miss when Lana didn't post so many snippets on her insta. It's great but I personally think it reduces the hype and we start getting to know the songs by like 10-20 seconds and it's so insanely boring when we have to wait 9 months to hear the full. Idk, sorry if I offend anyone who just jumped back on the hype train Paradise, UV and Honeymoon were just perfect releases because they avoided this

Whenever I search for artists that are most similar to Lana, we often get recommended Marina, Halsey, Florence, FKA Twigs, Melanie etc. And yeah I do happen to love them all but they just don't match up in similarity because their voices are so different, and tbh, far less "easy listening" than Lana's voice. Then I come across the artists that I truly think are most similar on my own, and Jesse Jo Stark is one of them, in vocals as well as The Pierce's and Mazzy Star. They are the songs I listen to where I'm really like "omg Lana could 100% have done this" or "wow if she could just cover this..." "Add strings and this is a Lana song" All seem to be relatively stripped down compared to Lana's pop-influenced genre but then again Lana does have her routes in acoustic guitar and her AKA album, which remind me a lot of Mazzy Star also. Anyone else know artists whose vocals actually match really well with Lana's?

Letter to Dana - Sonata Arctica It reminds me of some Celtic fairytale but modernised, with an ending where the man doesn't get his lady back. I love the song, all 3 versions of it been listening since I was 15, and it's very easy listening compared to their other songs (power metal). Next letter: B

Korean lesbian revenge thriller. The movie is centered around mystery more than the forming relationship. It is done in 2 parts and everything about it is so unique. It will always stand out to me.

I'd be keen for the full leak but I'm glad she chose to take out the end and little laugh to replace it with the creepy broken icecream truck music
