"UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres says that the number of civilians killed in the Gaza Strip shows that there is something "clearly wrong" with Israel's military operations against Hamas militants. "There are violations by Hamas when they have human shields. But when one looks at the number of civilians that were killed with the military operations, there is something that is clearly wrong," Mr Guterres said. He said on Monday that Gaza was becoming a "graveyard for children", as more than 4,000 children have been killed, far outnumbering the maximum number of killings the UN has seen in past years. Mr Guterres added that the death toll "doesn't help Israel in relation to the global public opinion". He added that if the distinction is not clearly made between Hamas and Palestinians, "I think it's humanity itself that will lose its meeting." The current humanitarian crisis on the ground in Gaza is "catastrophic", Mr Guterres said. " Honestly they couldn't see this coming when the death toll was rising by the hundreds every day for 4 weeks? Only now they can admit it because over 10,000 is finally a number large enough for more people to raise an eyebrow? And also, still nothing is being done except continuing negotiations for supplies to Gaza.

The number of children in Gaza killed in 3 weeks has surpassed the total number of children killed worldwide in conflict since 2019. Honestly what are some people thinking when they see stats like this? Too many seem to think it's fine, justified, or just ignore it. I hear everyone who stays silent loud and clear.

Israel previously said they would treat any vehicle in Gaza as one transporting Hamas militants. They are treating all vehicles the same with no evidence. That's really useful, I didn't think of doing that. Thank you.

May be connected to the handful of other problems people are having like not being able to like posts or mention another user with the @ . I had this problem you're describing when I was experiencing those other issues. Even if I could reach the paste box and clicked the "insert into post" button, it would get stuck loading forever. Fixed by using Firefox.

Some of my favourite Garbage tracks are the B-sides/Bonus/Deluxe tracks I think they tend to lean into these songs with what I consider the pure Garbage sound, without overcomplicating them. Meanwhile, you can still tell exactly which albums they're connected to by the sound.

I think what allowed this was Lana pushing into new territory with her lyrics. Something so bold, upfront and even scary could never settle at the level of previous work Jack had done with her. It demanded something deeper and more powerful.

Still can't believe people are doubting the reported death tolls. Every person besides those unidentified or missing is NAMED. There's a list of all of the names published of people who have been killed, with their ages as well. They can count the number of families that have been entirely wiped out. Israeli officials have clearly been preaching that their intent is genocide and wiping out Palestinians as a whole, as the enemy to Israel, and their actions show that they have been doing that successfully. But as soon as they turn to international media they claim that they don't mean to harm civilians, and y'all just believe that.

The first part of this video details the bible passages that Israel's Prime Minister is referencing. Basically, they are passages about wiping out the enemy in an existential war. Men, women, children, babies, and all the animals they keep too. And 2:12, reading out the intent of former Head of Israel's National Security Council published in the newspaper, which details exactly what has happened so far, as planned, how they cannot win over Hamas without America believing that Israel "has no choice", and how what will happen is comparable to what happened in Pearl Harbor with the atomic bomb. "As a result, Gaza will become a place where no human being can exist". This is a planned extermination. Anyone skipping around the word genocide at this point is completely in denial. You didn't think humans, let alone your own country, are capable of this in modern times? Think again.

I know this was 12 days ago, but honestly everything he says (besides that one piece of misinformation we all know about now) still stands and is still so urgent, despite no signs of improving. And this from 2 weeks ago. Well worth watching. The Hamas representative skipping around questions and the Israel representative refusing to acknowledge that what they are doing is collective punishment. Just madness.
