Cause that's not what I meant lol I've saw videos and articles everywhere about people relating POV to Billie as soon as it was released. And even if it's not about her the lyrics are just so gross. A downturn in his artistry imo.

The fact that it's one from the ultraviolence shoot + the Black Beauty BSide is so special and confirms that she always placed it to that era, even though she tried to make it work for others. I really hope she's thinking a lot about it and hopes to release Fine China + other Ultraviolence unreleased tracks. Maybe she will actually give a shit and do something for its 2024 10 year anniversary. Maybe an Ultraviolence expanded re-release. Now THAT will steal my money.

Anyone else feel weird listening to their music since Jesse's solo last release about Billie Eilish It grossed me out so much. I still listen to TNBHD but it's not the same.

I've seen a few ads for Melanie playing in my city next year. I've never had the chance to see her but I honestly laughed. There's no way im seeing her current tour To me, i think it would feel like i never actually saw her perform. So sorry if thats an ungrateful fan opinion. Had a dream that Lana was performing unreleased songs out in an open park surrounded by fans and it was so cute. I remember one song was unheard of before. It had a pretty stripped back upbeat chill sound like Put Me In A Movie x Brooklyn Baby demo. Some of the chorus lyrics were "I don't care. __________. I was born to dance", and she even sung it in that southern accent, hence why we thought it was old and not new. That's all I remember, but it was a vibe! It's what I would want from Lana if she were to do a beachy album, or AKA 2.0. And she also looked so happy singing it!

I think they were mostly concepts she didn't develop further. I don't think those songs as a final would have remained that dreamy and ambient. It's just an easy production for her producers to throw together when she has ideas. I think(?), and correct me if im wrong, but were most of these also made before she had realised what she wanted each era to be like? If so, in that way, they come from the heart and are more personal, like @Embach said. But I would love to hear more early LFL and Honeymoon, and even NFR demos, if they sound like that too. I can imagine Groupie Love's earliest demo sounded like that because it starts with a similar strings sound.

She definitely thought she ate with the Void video. When really something like the teaser snippet she put on insta before the album would have been better. Some grungy blair witch thing would have served so good.

Someone I know came back from a holiday in Canada and said that the news in Canada is very controlled compared to Australia, that everything there is very much pro-Israel. I always try to pick up on anything that could be biased but I can't recall anything that has been. Correct me if im wrong (I've been reading ABC as Australian news, but also reading/watching news from other countries)

Best season since Roanoke, I must say (so far). It does feel much more closed in, but I actually appreciate it. Its much easier to follow and I do think AHS needed to reel it in a bit. Kim K's role is also great for her. She steals the screen every time. I watched it only after watching a YouTube review. They were half trashing everything about the 5 episodes, but i was like "nah that sounds pretty good, ima watch it". Glad I did!

I think she might only have a chance for best Alt song (A&W), and it's definitely the most deserved in that category. That's the one id be most annoyed at her being robbed of

Still WAY too many people I know being like "it's a difficult situation". "Hamas is using human shields so what else is Israel meant to do?" Idk, NOT get a free pass to commit war crimes??? Would YOU think it's fair enough to be bombed in your own city and then again at places you are told to go for shelter by the attacker just because some evil people might be roaming beneath you? Would you be okay with you and your family dying as human shields? And even if you were a hostage, would you be okay with 80 innocent people dying to supposedly kill one person involved with the crew keeping you hostage? People love to think with what they think is "logic" and "strategy" before they even consider the value of human lives. We don't need more politicians like that. We don't need more people in the world like that.

Still need the Red Lips early version/ music video version. The differences are subtle but I think I prefer the earlier one.

If you haven't heard FWY (Fucking With You), an extra track from Strange Little Birds, I'd highly recommend. I think it gives major callbacks to their early B-sides, and it's such a core Garbage song to me. It's so late 90s/early 2000s (but strictly 2000-2001). Sky covering FWY would also work. She could cover anything from their debut or Version 2.0 and it would fit so well.
