  1. Another show that wasn't available to me for me to watch but I really wanted to! I remember browsing the website though, and choosing who my favourite character was (Musa) even tho I'd never seen so much as snippets/ads for the show.
  2. This honestly sounds like its straight from Hybrid Theory, and it's the second song so far that I really enjoy. I think the album is gonna be a win for me.
  3. America wanted freedom... for billionaires and their other rich white friends. Not feeling sorry for those who thought listening to MAGAs on twitter was doing their research and now are about to have their own rights taken away.
  4. He said to be cool but I'm already coolest
  5. I've started playing ARK Survival on PC again. I mainly want to play creatively with building and exploration this time but it always takes time to build up what you have, even when you mess with the difficulty and XP rate.
  6. You gotta be smart and I'm a little smarty ... I'm glamorous, famous Notorious, dangerous, "but you're crazy"

I went to see the Dark Side Of The Moon visual experience at the Planetarium (for the 50th anniversary). It was so good! So many awesome space references. Key moments I really liked: Time: the visuals were a planetary calendar/clock. It worked perfectly for the ticking and alarm sound effects. I liked how it also focused a lot on Saturn as im pretty sure Saturn is the ruler of time? Heard that somewhere. Great Gig In The Sky: a zoom-out from Earth and the ISS out of the solar system, the milky way galaxy and to our cluster of galaxies, then zoomed back in to our little planet and the ISS circling it. It was perfection. Exactly what I imagine when I listen to the song. I am also very obsessed with visualising the scale of the universe in general. Us & Them: it zoomed into Jupiter and Europa, deep into Europa and showed little microbes living about (reference to the life on Europa theory). One of the last songs, I think Brain Damage?: Showing a technical animation of the first landing on the moon. Such as awesome experience with the perfect amount of trippy visuals, real space references, and throwbacks to the 70s time period. Yes! I talk about this all the time and really hope someone in a livestream asks her to lol. She is the only modern artist i can think of who would do it justice.
  8. "I know your wife and she wouldn't mind"
  9. I I'm really excited for Chappell and Sabrina getting these nominations and I hope they win in their categories against Taylor, Ariana and Beyonce. I don't pit anyone against anyone but I really want some new people in and im loving seeing fresh new faces in the moments im unwillingly exposed to pop media My wishes for the categories:
  10. Wait i listen to both constantly and now I'm only just realising
  11. Definitely not at all reminding me of WWII in Germany!

  13. I'm not but yeah I know. History repeats and we all pretend it's not happening until it IS history
  14. I wonder what's going to happen now. Trump has been calling Israel and Netanyahu evil for years, yet I think he's gonna put that aside and do whatever the money says he should. Disgusting. Is this not the most violent and rapid form of colonisation that's ever happened?
  15. I had a bad feeling all this was going to happen after 2 weeks ago when my state in Australia voted for the right-wing major political party. I mean these are bad feelings I've had since 2016 tbh, but more and more they become real. I fear that people have become more self-centered, conservative and bigoted as a backlash towards actions of coming together to reverse climate change and abolish oppression. People feel they're losing the power they were never meant to have above others and the environment. It's still my duty to have hope, but having hope is effort. Having hope is continuing to fight while taking ten steps back towards a fucking cliff innit.
  16. Is there anywhere i can hear Nothing? Can't find it anywhere and im dying to hear the complete 90s tracklist
  17. NO WAY I knew that instrumental already because i listen to this mashup with Is This Happiness literally all the time. Im so happy to find it's a real song by an artist I'm so excited to dive into. The plot thickens How amazing though
  18. The intro of this song kinda gives Southern Gothic. The rest of the song doesn't, but it's an AMAZING song and one of my faves of the last 2 years
  19. All the ones mentioned + Get Drunk but also these dark versions that fans have made. They're so much better than you'd guess. And a cleaned up audio of Heart Shaped Box
  20. Uh her best song just dropped As for her other songs recently released, they're all good. Skeleton is amazing in the second half once it picks up into some kind of Shoegaze, and Billie Don't Be So Mad is nice.
  21. She said in this interview that Life of the Spider was hardest to write. Her singing in that song is similarly so vulnerable and pained like in Afraid of the Dark. Im obsessed with them. (Don't know why the interview isn't linking correctly but it's on Call Her Daddy's spotify)
  22. i feel so validated now for having a hunch that they do southern gothic style . I actually remember years and years ago you saying you loved Space & Time and The Good Samaritan, when I was just discovering their music <3 Im becoming even more fascinated by them now that i hope Lana might do this album in a similar style
  23. Seems like Lana has just confused us tbh because there aren't good examples of Southern Gothic music and this whole thread is just us being like "I think it sounds like this" Wait @AngelHeadedHipster the mention of The Pierces! Yes! Apparently they were born in Alabama so I think this is the closest we have Dying to hear what @Elle thinks of The Pierces and Southern Gothic, as another fan Ive always thought of them as bohemian/hippies who make soft rock and country music. Knowing know that they're from Alabama it makes so much sense.
