This is the first project I ever heard from her and I can't lie this is quite underwhelming, it sounds very dated and generic, Stupid Love is a highlight on first listen... So I guess that says a lot about the other tracks lol
 
I wished the record sounded more like the interludes and the Elton John collab, that was an amazing song, other highlights for me would be Enigma and 911
 
This could have been a good 10 album track, it's not bad at all, it's just underwhelming in my opinion

i caved in and listened to the leak LOL and to my surprise i loved it??? maybe im biased because i used to stan gaga so hard in 2014-2017 but i really thought this album was gonna be disappointing, and considering how everyone was reacting before it really isn't bad at all...
i think gaga def chose the wrong singles and the visuals were... that. but this is what we've been asking her to do since joanne and she listened.
my favourite song is definitely sine from above but again no one seems to like it

It feels very reminiscent of her earlier stuff, her pre-fame demos like Reloaded etc. I just wish the songs were longer and that she explored the 90s sound more, the demo of Free Woman MASSSSSIVELY shits on the club mix

Yeah it's very referential, almost a carbon copy of 90s and mid 2010 music, but of a good kind! 1000 Doves it's the best one with SFA, it feels super 2016, but it gives me that year's buzz, like i feel i've been transported to that summer's vacation, on the beach on a sunny day.
Sour Candy it's a mess and the worst one along with SL and Fun Tonight. But overall it's a cute summer dance album

the only song i actually enjoyed was Sine from Above because i thought it was a little bit more risky/experimental for her own career
