She seems really confident and content in this interview. I'm picking up some very happy vibes which is lovely too. I'm also really excited we are getting "Music To watch Boys To" as a track at least. The concept of the track sounds very interesting too -"Definitely. I can see it and I can hear it. I'm working on a new record now, and I have this one song, "Music to Watch Boys To." The title lends itself to a visual of shadows of men passing by, this girl's eyes, her face. I can definitely see things."          

So let's discuss every movie that has a rape scene in it. I think they should all be banned.
 
I've been quiet about this the whole time but I feel now that the fuzz about this is over I can express myself. It's an art project. It's supposed to be shocking as most art projects are these days. Nothing new, nothing exciting. It's not an actual rape scene but an enactment of a rape scenario. It was also probably completely taken out of context due to the fact that this might only be a short preview of the full project.
 
I seriously don't get why everyone is being so sensitive about everything nowadays. I've given my two cents, drag me, whatever...I'm out.

Because the last I checked... two people consenting to portraying rape on film is NOT the same as rape occurring in real life and in no way immediately implies the endorsement OF rape from either party....

Have we really gotten to a place in culture where we cannot even show rape in film and have a DIALOGUE about it? Because if so, we are NO better off than we were in the 50s when there was no space in culture to address issues like this.  Art and media is a space where artists are supposed to be encouraged to portray the struggles of our life.... I'm confused by the offense people are taking with this. Did this 29 second clip in ANY way imply that what was occurring was okay? 

Also... This is not a REAL rape.

Also also... rape in film SHOULD make you uncomfortable. That is okay. That is normal.
