The best thing about the live version are the verses. Specially the part where she talks about her parents, "my mother's glamor lives on and ooooonnnnn""" The way she holds the notes there is just so amazing
-
Well at least you get to see her perform so many times

I would guess Blue Suede Shoes because that is the track she wanted to cover for BTD but that bitch didn't let her -
But why was she here, other than meeting fans? Did she perform or do something?

This, I don't know what is the difference If they replace it digitally the strings are still there, no

Yass, she finally sang the best song from UV! The crowd is seriously annoying, although I understand they are excited when they get to hear OM. I'll edit out the crowd on my audio and listen to this obsessively

She sounds amazing. I wish we had official live versions without a crowd This is why we need televised performances

It would be so epic if we had a video of her saying those last words of the interview Inspirational queen

It's coming this month and that's all we need to know Don't stop believing.... -
WTF Like what is the deal with her Is she contractually not allowed to perform her own album or what
-
It really wouldn't surprise me if she sung more UV songs, like PWYC, CW and Brooklyn Baby. She had plenty of time to rehearse
-
Yeah, their covers are always interesting Crazy really is the word to describe them XD

EDIT: Never mind this post, mistake Since I can't delete it enjoy this picture of an adorable kid falling asleep though

She said that it was not inspired by Rome & Juliet, she found out about the similarities after finishing the song, it is based on "fantastical snapshots and memories of being on the corner of Hollywood". A collection of things which gave her a nostalgic feeling

Come on you guys, LB has to be represented there! Plus I am dying for some blogs about concert experiences

Britney should get a restraining order against him because of the mess he created

OMG the abundance of DL links/unreleased trade in this thread Love it I liked Stay High so much that I decided to check out this album, and I really like it! Some really good songs on it! Moments and Not on Drugs are awesome, the production is kind of the same on most songs, but hey it clearly works! I wonder if she will be big.

I wonder if she will outdo herself with the next one...she said she is happier lately and had more inspiration, so I hope for something really special from her

Ultraviolence - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Creyk replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Post-Release Threads
It depends on your style and what you are into really. Overall, BTD is a more classy album with more unique lyrics and the ever present retro beauty queen / gangsta Nancy Sinatra feel. She abandoned these things for the UV era both sonically and visually, so of course it's different. UV is like a more mature, artistic Lizzy Grant. BTD is the perfection of Lana Del Rey -
I'll put this on my waiting list next to your UV review

While browsing the internet I found this: I LOVE these type of lullaby renditions of songs, and after looking around on the web, I found that Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star created a whole album of Lana's songs. Here is the tracklist: 1 Young and Beautiful 2 Born to Die 3 West Coast 4 Ultraviolence 5 Summertime Sadness 6 Shades of Cool 7 National Anthem 8 Ride 9 Blue Jeans 10 Radio 11 Dark Paradise 12 Brooklyn Baby 13 Video Games 14 Once Upon a Dream (Young & Beautiful is fucking flawless, I strongly recommend you check it out) You can listen to 1:30 snippets of each song here: https://play.google.com/store/music/album/Twinkle_Twinkle_Little_Rock_Star_Lullaby_Versions_?id=Bpqk3br4z7hfybsnsnvopl6iiwq I am super happy there is finally a Lana album of songs like this, now I just have to get my hands on the album somehow  What do you think of this? Do you like the songs? Or are they not your cup of tea? Discuss!
