WTF Only 2 people wrote American I thought everyone loved that song Anyway, my list is: Lucky Ones (If only there was a live version, she would slay this with those live vocals ) American (Even though she has never said a word about this song, I am happy that she performed it numerous times. She sounds so good in it, and the instrumental is amazing) The Other Woman (Well, really...all tracks are flawless but I had been listening to that one the most lately, so let's go with that)

Maybe the pressure because of this causes her to get sick fast every time she has to perform, as a protective mechanism She should see a psychologist
-
She obviously will in 2015 Everything for that Money, Power and Glory
-
I hope she's smiling like that because she's happy about having scored that James Bond movie

I did not know what Vimeo is Well thanks you guys The way she sings "Is that true" at 1:29 in video games is so lovely And the way she holds that youuuuuu final note at 4:08 is also great

Lana Featured on New Emile Haynie Song "Wait For Life" - Out January 20th
Creyk replied to CruelWorld's topic in New Releases
I like Lana's ethereal songs Wouldn't be surprised if it was something like NA though, and wouldn't mind it either -
I think you know what I meant by travesty It's been what, 2-3 years and she is still hurt by the reaction to her first album, and the SNL performance had a part in that. But otherwise, I actually agree with you! I loved those performances and would watch them often, I was so sad when they were removed from her youtube page and I couldn't find them anymore
-
Because she grew up on hip-hop

Well apparently after the SNL travesty someone at her label gave her plenty of coaching/lessons. But also how she does depends on the day/mood, as she said numberous times. It seems to be a mental issue with her, what kind of mindset she is in at the moment, how much is she blocking herself with her depression/anxiety I don't even know what her problems are anymore. Point is, I agree that she has definitely improved, and she probably had a specially good day when ITH was recorded

Lana Featured on New Emile Haynie Song "Wait For Life" - Out January 20th

I wonder what are the possibilities for this track ~sonically~ We know that in the studio Lana is in control, her vision guides everything, and the producers adapt based on what she wants, and as she changes so does the music, we can see this in the difference of the sound between Paradise and BTD too, same team, but different sound. So I wonder if now that Lana is in another place again, this track will be different from what we heard before (with similar lyrical content though). OR, another possibility is, is that maybe since this is Emile's album we will get whatever he wants and Lana just goes along with it and lends her voice to whatever kind of track Emile wants to make, therefore we get something upbeat, fast and crazy. I'm so curious about which one will happen! There should be an album preview or something -
She would easily outshine the others unless she hid from the cameras all the time

This tbh. I mean I understand that Lana doesn't care, but how come Interscope goes along with her. If they can force Gaga (who is a much bigger star) to do what they want, or she has to compromise, then how come Lana always gets her way, it's so weird. Why are they not pushing her to promote her songs and force her songs on radio, like they do with other stars? It's a mystery to me -
