I see your point here. I don't think she glorifies the industry part, but she glorifies LA as a city. I live in LA and the people here are quite normal. It's not like living in a movie, but people think it's like that because of the films or something. Anyways, LA is a beautiful city with interesting history, and that's what Lana describes in her songs. Hollywood as an industry can definitely be disgusting, but that's different from what Lana sings about I believe (in this era at least). Also, you'll find injustice and darkness everywhere you go unfortunately

ever since listening to Badlands in full I've changed my opinion on Halsey.... I used to be a hater but I realized she writes some damn good lyrics and most of her songs are great, too bad her image and personality are annoying in my opinion and sometimes her visuals/sound are very (very) similar to the ones of other artists..... anyways I won't hate on her anymore x

tbh Melanine is over.
I enjoy her music but this is disgusting and the backlash will be terrible, especially considering the things happened in the past few months. Just as Harvey, Spacey etc. won't work again Melanie will not be respected anymore in my opinion.
