  1. Those drums on Cherry are giving me major UV / WC vibes.
  2. It's like she tried fitting two songs into one another I felt Stairway to Heaven had so much potential to be a woke ballad of some sort. And when I heard @butterflies take on the lyrics, I really felt like that was the ideal sound for it. In the track, I pictured her walking up to heaven and asking God questions. It felt ethereal yet still held to that positive message she wanted to convey. Now this Coachella / Woodstock mash feels like a separate song. I guess if she left out the StH chorus and actually kept to the 60s/flowerchild vibe, lyrically, it would've been better. But also, the production feels like it's all over the place. Her vocals feel like she recorded it in 1 hasty session. Here's to hope that Yosemite, Tomorrow Never Came, and the Stevie Nicks collab is good. But right now, I feel like this era is struggling to find what it wants to be
  3. So excited to see it! I'm rooting for Portugal's Salvador Sobral. It's such a delicate song in its native Portuguese.
  4. A glamorous job: sugar baby

  6. I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion.. more like a Lana-based confession. I don't listen to Ride very often. Why? Because I find it too beautiful. It's the instrumentation and the lyrics-- it's melancholy, raw, and I always think back to the Ride MV which is breathtaking in itself. The monologue is, well, a masterpiece. I wish it was its own track. Ride is a heavy song.. that's why I've gotta listen to it selectively. In turn, Ride always sounds fresh. But I'm pretty sure Ride will always be a timeless Lana song.
  7. Off to the Races, in my opinion, could have been a cinematic masterpiece of a music video given the right production value and direction. (If she went through with it). I'd imagine her entwined with an older man, sitting alongside him as the intro starts. She'd have this exact Dazed look, talking the lyrics. Guiding the viewer over her man's cards, the poker table, the ambience of people gambling, the cigars and drinks. And as the song unfolds, I imagine her and her man just running havoc in a place like Caesar's Palace in Vegas. The chimes / lights of the slot machines, Lana standing in front of sculptures, laughing with wads of cash in her hands. Waving it in front of people, as if teasing them and the viewer. Then towards the end, I envision her man getting tangled into something he can't easily get out of with his charm. A fight breaks out. Guns are drawn, a chandelier shatters as the diamonds fall to the ground. People run away, but Lana keeps sitting there. Merely inches away from a possibly fatal attack. She won't leave his side because she loves him and the life too much. Then the outro, when the orchestra and strings start playing, Lana drives out of Vegas and onto the desert freeway. With a bag of cash in the backseat and mascara tears running down her face. One could only dream
  8. I prefer the live version of Old Money more than the studio. It's in the two details: Jersey nights sounds more personal than summer nights. And the drums in the chorus give it more character. Like this performance.
  9. I love that Lust 4 life single cover with the flower/grass field. Even the gloves lol
  10. Fucked my way to the top English -> Danish -> Portuguese -> Hungarian -> English I am a dragon, bitch, I do not know what is good. Mimickin "I'm a fucking boring Me, but expensive. I put down tonight with my diamonds and pearls Tell me what I am to my girls. I put the top, This is my show.

  12. this one isn't meant to be serious lol. I just kinda liked her coachella pic and was inspired to make this weird edit
  13. SOTT is surprisingly good. I think I'm the only one who likes a few of the lyrics. But as a whole I think they could have been expanded on, rather than the same phrases repeated over. I honestly wasn't expecting much from his debut, but I've found myself to be rather excited about the album release; if SOTT is any indicator of the other tracks.
