I didn't use an image of her in mine. I think the album will have a 70s and 60s theme too, and I think there will be references to beatniks (like in Brooklyn Baby) in part of it (even if it is satirical!). So anyway I used the Brooklyn Bridge.

I normally call he alternative/baroque - pop but she uses influences from lots of different genres, and also Ultraviolence was more rock-y.

My Dad loves them, and I'm getting into them.

I agree with you, although it's a lovely (pun most shamelessly intended ) song it is 'safe'. However this is the single therefore it is made to appeal to the widest audience. I think the rest of the album will be much more abstract and Lana esque. A bit like HBTB, I really liked it but to me it felt a bit safe, but if you compare it to the slow jazy sounds of the album, you can see why it was chosen as the main single for commercial appeal.

Swan Song is the best song from Honeymoon. Fite me.

Lovesick is heavenly I swear. I really like The Altar and Lovesick is one of my faves.

I love Dopamine ... and American Money is such an alt-pop bop. Also have you heard the ' After Dark' sessions on his YouTube channel? Holy Ghost is my favourite one from those sessions.

That could be anything? It doesn't have Lorde's voice in it, and calling it 'Lorde - I'm nineteen and im on fire' doesn't make it a Lorde track. You could've gotten that from anywhere.

Although I do find Ben's post badly worded, he has a point.
Why do we care about Lana's promo?
I know it is nice for us to see our good sis climb the charts, but overall it is all about us enjoying her music personally. I have always thought that Lana wanted to stay out of the spotlight, and therefore it makes sense that she doesn't want major promo.
 
Also we complain about lack of promo but really we have a lot? For example, the festivals, trailer, radio premiers and music videos. Yes it is not as much as other artists but like Ben said, Lana isn't fame hungry. In a way I feel like the way how Lana is promoting herself right now is all about her fans. For example, she tells us the release date on Twitter which her fans will see first. Coachella - Woodstock was released like a special surprise gift for her fans. Her trailer had a lot of references to her fans, as did the Love MV. Maybe she wants to keep the release low-key because it makes it more exclusive for her fans.
 
And honestly you all get so frustrated, when really music is meant to be cathartic. The album will come in time, and it is not healthy to get very obsessed over it. In the meantime, enjoy Lana's previous records and chill. Worse things could be happening
