  1. I just finished The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and really enjoyed it. The movie is coming out soon and I'm excited. I also finished (like an hour ago, actually) The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls for school and I really liked that as well. It's a memoir, but it reads as fiction and I highly recommend it.
  2. I love Bishop... I'm seeing her in October and I'm super excited
  3. These sandals are very similar (if not the same) to the ones that Lana's been wearing on tour.
  4. I thought she was in Cali?? I wonder if her comment could mean anything else
  5. Interesting. I've read every post on his blog several times and somehow I've never made this connection. I don't think K and Ray are the same person though. There might be overlap but imo there's a clear difference when she's singing about each one. Where did you learn that he lived in Greenwich?
  6. Yess I miss those things. I remember one year for Lana's birthday, there was a marathon of scary movies and it was so fun because everyone is hilarious.
  7. Currency that has been around for a long time
  8. It's 'methampheta- mile'
  9. I was there and at the barrier and it was honestly one of the most traumatic things I've ever experienced. Lana fans are fucking crazy. The second the 1975 left the stage, the hand of God pushed the entire crowd forward. And it was extremely muddy. It was such a horrible experience. Obviously Lana did good, though. She looked STUNNING. I was feeling claustrophobic in the audience and was literally crying (and not because of Lana) and by the end I was in a much safer spot probably 10 rows back. And then there was a drunk guy singing along very loudly (and badly), yet he knew none of the words. I'm just so thankful that this wasn't my first Lana show. I must say that despite the things going on around me and making it hard to focus on the actual concert, once she started playing Yayo, I remembered why I had stood in the same spot all day and endured the things that I had endured. It made it all worth it.
  10. Second mention of red, blue, and yellow... is she just describing a sunset or am I missing something
  11. She looks flawless. I'm so excited to see what she's going to wear tomorrow and what the setlist is going to look like. I hope this tour is legendary.
  12. It's crazy how fast she's getting recognized. I started liking her when Gold first came out and now she's on the radio all the time. I get to see her at Lollapalooza and I'm really excited because I haven't been able to find any videos of her live

    1949

This is def not the instrumental I would've imagined for 1949 but I adore it. It's almost a sad, nostalgic sound in the intro. Sooo good.
  14. Does anyone have any looks similar to the Lizzy Grant era?? I have been searching and searching and I can't find anything. Specifically this shirt:
  15. I selfishly hope that she does some American dates. I live close to Chicago but I in no way have the money to go to a festival. She still needs to come to Kansas City
  16. So they're still together orrrr... no? I'm confused
  17. I think I like this album better than the first one. The tracks that I like on the debut album are overall stronger songs that most of the ones on this album, but ilwys has more songs that I want to listen to and not just when I'm in a funk. The only songs I don't like are If I Believe You and ILWYS. I was so nervous when I first heard Love Me because I didn't want all of their music to go in that direction, but now that the album is out and I know they haven't changed much at all I can jam out.
  18. "Chariots of gold, I ride with Jay-Z, Jared Leto." I live!
  19. Are there no red carpet photos for this? She looks amazing so that would be a shame
  20. I am in love with this whole look, but especially the heels. I would for sure wear those. I'm beyond happy that she's making the effort to go to events and look nice.
  21. I wouldn't be surprised if she played a few festivals and then her tour looked like this
  22. I think she took a hit in the HM era just because she ditched having any sort of persona and the music was received as well on a widespread level, but I think she's about to start flourishing again. She's obviously been putting more effort into her looks lately (something we honestly haven't seen since BTD even tho I loved the simplicity of UV) and I think she's gonna make a little comeback. I don't know what lit the fire under her ass, but I'm glad she's been looking cute and going out more. I'm curious to see how this relays over to her music.
  23. I love the hair. It's my favorite part of the whole look. I can really appreciate the 60's influence and I hope she keeps serving looks like this.
