This album is SO GOOD. For some reason, the snippets didn't impress me and I wasn't expecting much but it's probably better that way because I was blown away when I was listening. Obviously Goddess is good, but she really outdid herself with this one.

Which Nina Simone song should Lana cover next?

Which Nina Simone song should Lana cover next?

No one's necessarily saying they want it. It's an IF. It's all in fun... -
The title says it all. If Lana continues the theme of covering Nina on her albums, which Nina Simone song would you like to see her cover next? Personally, I'd like her to cover Do What You Gotta Do or Feeling Good.

This is so fucking funny she is too much

In a way... I think we're all Lolita14

Chuck will always be my favorite. There's just something about her photos that offer something different than everyone else's. I think it's because she knows Lana so well, maybe. Whatever it is, her's are always my favorites.

Even though it's not worth it and has errors, I still kind of want it. I have the 2nd edition, but I saw the latest one at Lollapalooza and I didn't even realize it was a different one and I regret not getting it

I just finished Luckiest Girl Alive by Jennifer Knoll and that was really good as well. It's funny and dark and yet another one that I'd recommend

I just finished The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and really enjoyed it. The movie is coming out soon and I'm excited. I also finished (like an hour ago, actually) The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls for school and I really liked that as well. It's a memoir, but it reads as fiction and I highly recommend it.

I love Bishop... I'm seeing her in October and I'm super excited

These sandals are very similar (if not the same) to the ones that Lana's been wearing on tour.

Lana and Francesco might be back together

I thought she was in Cali?? I wonder if her comment could mean anything else -
Interesting. I've read every post on his blog several times and somehow I've never made this connection. I don't think K and Ray are the same person though. There might be overlap but imo there's a clear difference when she's singing about each one. Where did you learn that he lived in Greenwich?

Yess I miss those things. I remember one year for Lana's birthday, there was a marathon of scary movies and it was so fun because everyone is hilarious.

I was there and at the barrier and it was honestly one of the most traumatic things I've ever experienced. Lana fans are fucking crazy. The second the 1975 left the stage, the hand of God pushed the entire crowd forward. And it was extremely muddy. It was such a horrible experience. Obviously Lana did good, though. She looked STUNNING. I was feeling claustrophobic in the audience and was literally crying (and not because of Lana) and by the end I was in a much safer spot probably 10 rows back. And then there was a drunk guy singing along very loudly (and badly), yet he knew none of the words. I'm just so thankful that this wasn't my first Lana show. I must say that despite the things going on around me and making it hard to focus on the actual concert, once she started playing Yayo, I remembered why I had stood in the same spot all day and endured the things that I had endured. It made it all worth it.

Second mention of red, blue, and yellow... is she just describing a sunset or am I missing something

She looks flawless. I'm so excited to see what she's going to wear tomorrow and what the setlist is going to look like. I hope this tour is legendary. -
It's crazy how fast she's getting recognized. I started liking her when Gold first came out and now she's on the radio all the time. I get to see her at Lollapalooza and I'm really excited because I haven't been able to find any videos of her live

This is def not the instrumental I would've imagined for 1949 but I adore it. It's almost a sad, nostalgic sound in the intro. Sooo good.

Does anyone have any looks similar to the Lizzy Grant era?? I have been searching and searching and I can't find anything. Specifically this shirt:
