Just purchased the album on iTunes, since I can’t purchase a physical. I haven’t done that since Lana. Love spending money on artists that truly deserve it ❤️❤️ What a queen.

I’m new to Ethel’s music but I’m really loving the album so far. It reminds me a lot of Nicole Dollanganger, Sky Ferreira and even Caroline Polachek at times. Awesome dark Lynch vibes. So beautiful… been listening high and it’s been an experience. I also appreciate the long song-lengths. I love the guitars too!! Lana would sound great with production like that. Best new music/album I’ve heard in a long time.

I want to wait till my vinyl gets to me on Tuesday to listen. Luckily I’m already in love with FJM’s version, so that will hold me over. I’m kind of obsessed with this album….It’s so so so amazing and even my 74 year old father loved “The Next 20th Century” and “Goodbye Mr. Blue” when I shared them with him. I’m also a huge bossa nova fan. This is his best work. I’m a fucking stan if I wasn’t already.

I never heard the leak, but did hear the new album today via my purchase of the box set and the courtesy streaming it provided. It’s fucking beautiful and amazing and he really outdid himself. I love the lush production and instrumentation. And his VOICE!! Wow. I can only imagine Lana and David Lynch’s covers will be beautiful and amazing. The album will sound so lovely on vinyl. I’m so excited to get my box set in the mail!! 😀😍 again, I love it when my faves collab or somehow crossover.

I really think he did a fantastic job with the background music for Violet. It's memorable and sets a mood. I liked what I heard with Patent Leather Do-Over, too

The beginning of Cult Leader reminded me of Cocteau Twins and I'd really like that vibe for LD9 as well. She's so versatile, she can do anything really. I want bombastic but I also want dark and witchy...can't we have both?

I have fond memories of the one that dropped in 2018 and of course I Love You, Honeybear is a masterpiece…
