I was thinking about what tied the whole trilogy together and when TV in Black & White leaked the line "troubles come in threes" really stood out to me. Maybe the trilogy is about the main troubles of her life (weaved in with honouring love lost, etc): BTD is about addiction and death; BJ is about K going to prison; VG is about her having to let go of her career ambitions because things weren't going anywhere and "relaxing into a more simple life".

Something else I'm really curious about is her relationship with her mother. I mean, is she even alive? I honestly have no idea. She never talks about her, I've never seen her in any family photos (I think?)... What's up with that? Can one of the Lana experts enlighten me a little bit about this? I think that could help understand so much about Lana, especially the daddy issues + preference for older / protective / dominant men... (I think I've read one too many psychology books. )

I think the live version of National Anthem is breath taking. I really want a copy of it where there's not someone screaming OH MY GOD LANA I WANT TO FUCK YOU SO MUCH for my collections.
 
I don't like a lot of the unreleased tracks I don't really like the fluffy sound.
 
I don't consider the AKA album to be a failed pop effort. I think most of it is very anti-genre. Fuck you hipster runoff!

I think a lot of the tracks on Paradise seem rather rushed. Some of the bridges are so mechanical
 
I really prefer Lana's look when her hair was strawberry or auburn colored. The black is just too much.

A few months ago when Lana was in Fashion mag she was being called " stick insect " in another forum. I think a lot of people underestimate her. When doing fashion shots she has no problem losing weight to get the "right" body type for that. Now think of a stripper in a small town strip joint. For me Lana's having the right body at the moment to impersonate one. Also chola, I think the gang members in LA likes curvy women. She adjusts her appearance in a great. almost Hollywood way.

People here are starting to piss me off. Anything is an insult, you can't say that, you can't do this. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so if someone thinks the model is ugly, that Lana is fat, that the girls look like men,  they can say it. ( it would be really stupid to say some of them though, remember we are on a Lana forum). It is hypocritical to say that people can only give their opinion if it is a good one. So please.

I've been thinking a lot about the potential of her relationship with Jimmy being nothing more than an obsession...Might Arthur be the more important guy? The "violent love", the "local rockstar", the man who couldn't behave in terms of addiction...And a friend of Jimmy's, too, correct? It's been a long road of assuming a lot about Jimmy based on Yayo and the name-drops, but maybe it's time to think more critically...

Feeling "electric" is an actual feeling. In other words, it's a feeling of being alive, a sense of elevation, being enlivened, feeling strong enthusiasm and joy about something.
She always uses the word in that meaning in interviews as well.

I think Y&B is definitely about Barrie. And probably most on Paradise. I think its safe to say they are very serious. See below.

Some highlights:
- She confirms that "Young and Beautiful" was written for The Great Gatsby and therefore eligible for awards and stuff.
- She talks about her influences, namely Kurt Cobain and Marilyn Monroe.
- She shows astonishment at the interviewer actually doing her homework.
- She literally says that she's planning a US tour. OUT LOUD.
- Said interviewer inquires about "Puppy Love", and Lana says she loves the song and (probably jokingly) that an album called The Leaked Sessions (or something) would be a good idea. Claiming her over 120 leaked songs were meant for other artists or later use.
 
So I guess "Gogo Dancer" was gonna come out in 2020. Huh, after all this time
