I'm so glad we have the official lyrics to the whole album now. And I'm impatient about no physical copies popping up on eBay or some other store, I need to hold this album.

Maya is just such a different album out of the four. I really don't want to compare it to the others.

There was a shirt that had a picture from the Superlove single cover photoshoot that said "superlove" in a hand written style so I got it thinking it would be super cool to have her sign it. It would look like part of the shirt. But alas :/
 
I'm going abroad to London next semester, really hoping I get a chance to finally interact with her in some way. Apparently when she was in Boston earlier this summer at the Great Scott she just went in the crowd and chilled with people... I know someone that didn't even know who she was at the time that just smoked with her for like 15 minutes... I'm so jealous.

Its like going to a sweet store. So hard to chose LOl..what to eat. Good for Maya tho until now IMO is a matter of choosing what is better from a incredible good body of work as a whole. That women does no wrong is amusing

as a body of work I think Maya and Kala are perfection. But Matangi holds incredible tunes that make me like it more than Arular

I am getting the impression Interscope is giving her a pay back for all the headache she gave them. In the sense I think she is low budget on everything now. Like luckily she is Maya so she can still do cool and different with 100 bucks but releasing her album and Gaga's at the same imo is a indicative that Interscope is literally throwing her album out there Like "let's see if this thing sells" Basically any promo, no radio promo. Thanks to twitter and Youtube and Maya herself we have info because if you think about it the actual promo was inexistent.
 
While Gaga was booked in basically every important TV show and radio show. Gaga is obviously a bigegr act and money maker so makes no sense to release them at basically the same time

I met her right after the show. She came out at another entrance with her band and J£ZUS MILLION for a cigarette break ten minutes after the show ended. She was pretty discreet about the whole thing though, it was only me and my two friends. I got my TR vinyl and ticket signed in addition to getting two pictures with her.

Last night somebody posted the official Omanko lyrics from their physical copy.
She said she received it in the mail by winning a contest on twitter. So maybe physicals aren't being sold to just anybody yet?

I was just thinking about this thread today too.

I don't think a lot of people would like DS if they weren't already a fan. DS is really old and she'll probably never make music like that again. That's like giving him 14 and expecting him to like it right off the bat (back) [whatever the expression is]. You should give him True Romance along with her mixtapes.
