I loved Lana's hair in the Ride video but I don't really like it other than that.
I loved her hair here!

This is good, omg
Uhm, until yesterday I was convinced that she's singing "This drunken beer reminder" in back to the basics and I don't know if that even makes sense Always a shock when I realize that I sung crap all the time

So I figured that Lana's unreleased can be neatly divided into four main genres--early surf noir material, upbeat gangsta Nancy Sinatra stuff, "Hollywood sadcore", and pop. From there, I made these albums for unreleased material in iTunes to divide the colossal unreleased album in a fun way.
Volume I: South Beach Swing
Volume II: Miss America
Volume III: American Dream
Volume IV: Daddy Issues
Unless she surprises all of us and Daytona Meth is some dubstep country rock then all future leaks can probably fit under these distinctions.

pinkfloralhaze liked a post in a topic by MafiosiPrincessa in Lana Del Rey: What does not kill you makes you weaker (interview)
This article is originally in Czech so I ran the text through the rarely accurate but always helpful Google Translate.
Here's the rough translation:
Interview with Lana Del Rey was twice canceled literally at the last minute, it worked the third time. Fears of a meeting with an asterisk zpovykanou(?) and its quirks but were ultimately unfounded. In his hotel suite Prague Hilton me about two hours before the event on Electronic Beats conquered the Czech audience welcomed the sweet and smiling young woman in shirt and jeans, which you could not help but notice two things: that it is extremely beautiful and the barefoot.

I've been looking for the '7-Eleven' part of the lyrics for ages, so I'm really glad I found it!
I love this song so much, it's definitely one of my very favourites, although for the life of me I couldn't tell you why! I love the way she says 'baby you can buy me Diet Mountain Dew and we'll get right down to it, me and you'.

To Jersey with love
Motel 6, sloe gin fizz
Swinging in the lobby, do the sunset twist
I can do it, you can do it, move them hips
Everybody let's get dangerous
(x2)
Fellas, if you wanna get that invite quicker
Pack up the pick-up, pick up the liquor
Go on use your charm, oh, come on, gonna get her
Gonna tell you
Ladies, if you really want to reign them suckers
Line up your lips, plump up your puckers
It's about the only way to get them motherfuckers
To do what you want
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
Motel 6, sloe gin fizz
Swinging in the lobby, do the sunset twist
I can do it, you can do it, move them hips
Everybody let's get dangerous
(x2)
Baby, if you really want to know my secret
Come a little closer, kiddy, promise you'll keep it
Come a little nearer, dear, you're gonna need it
Gonna tell you
Men like a woman who just don't need 'em
Sweeter than cherry pie and I'll treat 'em
Meaner than dirt, they deserve to be hurt
Do they realize what you're worth?
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
Maybe we can go down to 7-Eleven
Drive down the drag in your pontiac heaven
Baby, you can buy me Diet Mountain Dew
And we'll get right down to it, me and you
Laying on your hood like a flatbed truck
In the spotlight we see Jim and Chuck
We saw their car from a mile away and it's slowing
"They say there's a motel dance, let's get going"
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on

A CAPPELLA DEMO:
Motel 6, sloe gin fizz
Singing in the lobby, do the sunset twist
I can do it, you can do it, swing them hips
Everybody let's get dangerous
Fellas, if you wanna get that invite quicker
Pack up the pick-up and pick up the liquor
Go on use your charm, oh, come on, go an' get her
Baby is fair game
Ladies, if you really want to reign them suckers
Line out them limbs and plump up them pluckers
Baby, that's the only way to get them motherfuckers
Tell me what you want to do
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
Baby, if you really want to know my secret
Come a little closer, can you promise you'll keep it?
Near a little near, dear, whisper you need it, under the (???) lights
Love me like a woman, you just don't need 'em
Sweeter than cherry pie but you'll treat 'em
Meaner than dirt, they deserve to be hurt
Do they realize what they're worth, worth, worth?
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party
C-C-Come on
It's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party, it's a party

Also in TIWMUG, it says "high heels in her hand". I always thought it said "flyers in her hand" and had this image of a drunk girl passing out flyers for something on the side of the road while Lana just leans against a chain link fence and smokes a cigarette..
It's a beautiful image, I tell you. It really is.

In "Lolita" she wanted her cake, now she got it. I love how she plays with that proverb.

Misheard Lana Lyrics
Here is where we can post lyrics that we've misheard in Lana's songs.
Be sure to post the real lyric, too.
I'll start:
In Diet Mountain Dew it says:
"There in his white Pontiac Heaven"
I thought it said:
"Ridin' his white pony named Kevin"
I know, embarrassing
Can't wait to read some of yours!

Don’t know which song it is but it’s Billie Holiday.
I like this trend of evilentity betting cake.
I have to say again, i am really very happy with this recording and i hope this is, at least in part, an indication of things to come for the new album (hello "western," "west coast" and "stripped down"). Nothing about this feels like someone else’s attempt to make her “relevant” to today’s charts. There’s a subtlety and nuance to this production that most of BTD and some of Paradise is lacking; no turning everything up loud in your face going on here. For example, i am very pleasantly surprised by and pleased with how the acoustic guitar is recorded and mixed, it’s there more for color and texture rather than as a “spotlight” instrument--you feel it more than hear it. If you have good speakers or headphones listen for the sub-bass organ note that comes in at 3:19 when Barrie sings “Oh, summer wine.” It sounds amazing. That shit fills the entire room if you’re listening on speakers, and it rattles your skull if listening on headphones. I love it. I like that throughout the whole song there’s just a kick drum and snare, and that the beat just coasts along without trying to carry the backing track on its own. And how good is the drum sound? How about that marimba? And the James Bond horns sound great. Her backing vocals are excellent and so expressive, she really nailed them. Everything seems to be working together as one, to serve the whole of the song/production, rather than the song showcasing any one thing. I am geeking out pretty hard on this one, you guys.
But someone answer me this: why do people (and so many at that) take music videos and upload them to their channel? There are like 25 channels already that have uploaded the video or just the audio. What the hell do people do this for?

This is the only thing I can use to describe how I feel right now. This is perfection, they're so cute!
If this is what the new album is going to sound like, then I can't wait.
