It's so sad to say this but, for me, Lana isn't legendary anymore. She's not an interesting artist that was known by the world for having a strict vision and an ambitious side to her that made her do amazing things. She's not interesting, productive or creative anymore. She's a random girl doing random things and, right now, I'm pretty sure she's never coming back to what she was before. So sad.

I'm going to add onto this bc I want to really emphasize how TRASH 19-20th century American literature really is. I loved the visual + sonic 70's aesthetic that she had in earlier eras, but the writing from that era is shit. It's a bunch of conceited white dudes on adderall that were trying so hard to write hard-to-understand literature. jack kerouac etc. is such conceited awful literature. I hope she gets the writing bug out of her fast bc her career is literally going to die if she keeps trying to be "deep" by channeling all those awful writers

The one thing I hate about this video is everyone in the comments is like "are you stupid? This isn't a demo or a rough version it's a live vocal" when in reality if you layer it over the studio you can hear it actually is the final version, just with less pitch correction and vocal effects. You can even hear the flat notes in the beginning, which is the same vocal as the final (minus the flat notes that were fixed) and people have the audacity to say "Lana put a filter over the audio that distorted the pitch" it's like um bitch if she did then the whole instrumental and song would be out of tune, and there's no filter over it whatsoever. I just hate when the Lana gays pretend they know about music when there's people in this fandom who actually do
